Unfortunately, delock seems to be a European country product and is not compatible with US power outlets etc. I am looking to find something similar for USA but It seems impossible.

You must be kidding. What is there about it which makes it country specific? It has only USB3 interfaces which are global unique.
There is not even a power feed as it has not even got a plug for that.

For sure it works in the USA (or any other country in the world for that matter).
You can even use it to share a USB drive with a number of smart phones. ;)

Ah makes sense about power but see the country list on the right and no option for me to actually buy this.

OK a very different story. I bought mine from a local online shop in The Netherlands.

For buying some goods from local USA shops I am using a forwarder. They give me an USA based address to order goods to. They next repack and sent them to me in Europe. In fact this mostly is even cheaper regarding shipment costs.

There must be alternatives as it is a fairly common product.

PS, I figured out the SMB of the other two drives and now they all show up and work fine.

Only trouble is if I have folders within the folders, those do not scan so I have to select and scan those individually as well.

I cant believe why no one in the USA makes these... makes NAS systems obsolete, thats why?

For me a NAS has far too many disadvantages. But hardly anybody does it my way. :D

I was doing it exactly your' way (sorta) with Orico and switch and local connection but that thing got way too hot and was cooking my drives and had to return it.
Sabrent on the other hand requires a special kinda switch - one I have yet to find on Amazon.

Sabrent should not be different. Mine is absolutely normal.

Looks like a simplified version with 2 Ports and only manual.

Is yours automatic and not manual? as I see a button on top of that too?

Also, what happens when you want to connect not one but two IcyBoxes to the switch as it only has one input? Would you then use a hub for that?

Could I just get this since I only need it for two device, Z9X and Oppo...?
And how would the connections go? Will I connect Sabrent to the one input and Z9X and Oppo to the two outputs shown in the pic, and depending on which unit is on, it'll auto switch to them?

As long as only 1 player is powered on it switches fully automatically. Never failed me.
The switch is only needed when a choice must be made. There are leds indicating the port being active.

Yes adding a hub is a way to expand the peripherals.

The last picture looks identical to mine with just 2 ports. Yes that is the correct way to connect.
