Syncing Two Z9X

Sounds like you've done it right - easy to check - look in the bottom left corner of the poster details pages and it tells you whether the info came from NFOs or TMDB.

 

Took me a minute as I first checked one of my TV series details page (episodic) and it doesn't show anything about source but then I checked a Movie's page and there it is, bottom left... NFO ! Cool.

One last question (that's what they all say)... Do multi-Zidoo folks use this "export NFO" & "scrape NFO" approach just to get things synced up initially and then flip back (on both boxes) to scrape IMDB/TVDB after? It takes a long a** time to export my NFOs, on the order of 3 hours, and I add 1 or 2 new files every couple days.. so it's a lot of time spent to do an export every time and then do an update on the 2ndary unit... I'm thinking it's faster to just flip back to non-NFO refreshing.. if that makes sense. I would have expected if you un-tick the overwrite old files that the export should be pretty quick, only saving off the new scrapes, but nooooo

 

yoohoo? since there doesn't seem to be a way to only export NFO/posters, etc for new files as it takes 3 or 4 hours for mine to do an export with "overwrite old" unticked, (seemingly analyzing all files, even if only writing out for those that haven't been previously).. I flipped both boxes to NOT use NFOs for new scraping from here on out and I do TMDB scraping on each zidoo separately to update (much quicker).
..and it looks like I can now delete all the jpgs and nfo files in all the directories that box 2 had scraped from.. yes? Any downside to doing so?
