DMP A6 w/latest firmware as of today 9/11/25. The USB output to my T+A DAC 8 DSD works fine, accessing downloaded files from an external drive. Qobuz works fine via the USB output to the DAC. However, with Qobuz I’d like to use the S/PDIF output to the DAC. I’m unable to get the signal to the DAC. Any ideas what’s happening? Seems like a setting I’m missing in the Eversolo.

    Set Output port to SPDIF
    Source must be Internal Player!
Other sources are digital sources and digital sources to digital outputs is not possible with the eversolo.

Hi everyone. I have a problem with my dmp-a6 gen2. When switching output ports, the streamer mutes the volume. For example, if I switch from internal player to ARC_in and back, the volume always sets to -100dB. Is this normal?

It most probably is... anyway, as a rule of thumb, you should ALWAYS lower the volume when switching inputs (to preserve the integrity of both your speakers AND your ears),
I, for one, don't use MUTE / UNMUTE (as it could go from -25 to -100, and then back to -25 on an input with higher gain, resulting in my tweeters blown up...). I lower the volume manually to -100 or the likes, instead; and then restore it to a good listening level for the new source.
Again. as a rule of thumb. You can always do whatever suits you best.
