Generally, in these cases you can always check with your computre / tablet / phone, and if the service is unavailable only on the A6, then you can post for clarifications. Seems obvious to me. Have you tried to read how many useless posts about these "issues" are there every time...? Ok, we won't die for it, but still, it's a bit annoying, considering it takes so little do double-check before posting.
Apart from my opinion that someone who has posted 1400 messages in six months shouldn't give lectures to others about "pollution of the forum": An accumulation of messages about a certain malfunction of the device can help the developers to become aware of errors and eliminate them.
If the problem is due to the streaming service there is nothing Eversolo can do... And these messages are repeating: dozens of them "me too", "same thing here"... and then "everything is fine now", "yeah, now works again for me too". And having posted 1400 messages in nine months in a myriad of different threads on different topics is not exactly the same thing. I am only saying that when e.g. "Qobuz does not work" just check it on you phone or table too, as usually an update doesn't screw up one service of this kind; but either all or none. Unless is a specific update for that service.
Interesting... I remember having read sometjing similar, but don't reckon it was related to service disruptions like we are seeing... I mean yesterday many people once more got up with non working streaming service(s), and today they're all fine; without Eversolo doing anything in regard... Everything is possible though... may a time-of-day restricted API thing?
These problems ARE Eversolo problems. At all times I was able to connect directly to the streaming service with all other devices. It would appear that connections are not routed directly to the streaming services, but through some intermediate server that repeatedly fails. The fact that users on several different streaming platforms were having simultaneous problems confirms this. As Eversolo support personnel do visit the forum it’s important that they are made aware of the problem so that they can do something about it. It’s also useful to know when other users are having problems so that we can rule out local issues as the cause of the problems.
API server: https://blog.interactor.com/what-is-an-api-server I believe, this is similar to what Eversolo must have between the Eversolo app and the servers of the streaming services.. I know basic IT but servers/networks like these are a bit above my skill level.
Qobuz, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon... all these endpoints are API servers themselves: receive your commands ("play-this-song") and respond ("here-is-your-audio-stream"). Question is, why should Eversolo forward, and route back all such enquiries/responses... how fast they can be, the all thing will always be a slower - if for just a tiny fraction of a second - than the direct thing (there are two hops more anyway)... moreover, in terms of bandwidth, such services are scalable, and for Eversolo to keep up with - say - 4 or 5 of them is not a small load...
Well, ‘clearing the launcher data’ fixed Tidal not working, but of course also f….. up my A8. Maybe this function ‘restarts’ or resets something between the Eversolo app / you as a user and the streaming databases… But I would not recommend using that function on the A8 until they fix the fact that it works like a very efficient ‘factory reset’… Maybe it is the ‘Token’ that can ‘time out’ and this has to be reset before a user can get access to the music database again. Pure speculation on my side…
Could it be that the user interface needs to be “translated“ into a format that the Eversolo can display on the landscape screen? Maybe I should have gone with the Fiio
In my Eversolo Standard didnt worked streaming functions : Tidal and Amazon Music... what can I do to solve this issue?
