I have the a6 master edition and use it only as a Streaming transport and i am thinking about the coming T8 Transport I wonder if there are any difference in sound quality between transports or is it a waste of money ?
In my opinion you have already wasted the money by using the A6 ME as transport. In your case the A6 would have done the same job.
Just sitting here wasting time, anyway the new T8 appears be a bit more dedicated and more than likely, some gain, oh you’re really doing is just speculating as to what will be or what not will be, but it will be mandatory of your own decision as far as. Your Dac use it may open a few doors probably a little more use of use you basically got the minimum electrical/electronic needs as far as Overall operational concerns. The unit would have to be a much more straightforward simpler design, which sometimes less Turns out to be more, I think I will definitely get it. The T8 a try basically due to the fact I have a few DAC units here I also really I have no need for another preamp. I purchased the due to the fact I figured it may be somewhat of a superior unit Due to its overall configuration power supply design, plenty of inputs and outputs for just about anything I could think of as far as my use and last, but not least I really wanted to hear or acquire the AKM 4499exeq , configuration, so I’ll wait on the T8 for Now maybe keep or put the A8 up for sale , upon thoroughly evaluating the T8 and it’s basic use and amenities overall However you are correct different streamers do sound different to a very minor level or sonic degree, I parted with my HIFI Rose quite some time ago , in favor of the Eversolo A8 due to just in my humble opinion I would say the Eversolo in every area plus, Was at least a solid 90% or better, so far it turned out to be an excellent move and I also got a little money back. How about that Somewhat of a rare occurrence today, well we’re already approximately six months into the 2025. I’m sure I can hang in there to approximately somewhere starting the fourth quarter of the year, maybe I’ll hit another home run just may be a good move at least for me just speaking for myself. We’ll just have to wait and see time will tell, The only way that you can accomplish. This is obtain what you’re looking for and get it into your own system in your own room with your own equipment, your own music and your own spot that you usually sit in and you should shortly Arrive at an amical answer as per your Wonderman if you don’t believe it worked out for the better you’re nowhere worse off And what you already are, not saying you were in a negative physician to begin with, but you have to try before you buy I am an absolute firm believer in that area, and that is the only way I will have final commitment to any piece of gear If it be not possible to try and I don’t wanna buy, But lots of luck with that, and you probably won’t rest until you answer your question Good luck happy listening enjoy everything in moderation of course :-} These AUDIO streamers had really taken me by surprise. I never believed I would really enjoy. Or want to own one until I really truly started to enjoy them, I was always very old school Only vinyl , Still retain 2 turntables one set up for MM and one set up for MC with dedicated full phono stages & reel to reels, And quite a bit CD collecting throughout the decades, But to my surprise, I find myself heading for the eversolo a good deal at a time,at present, I believe it really got me going with. Its sheer convenience of use and ability just to hear and play whatever I desired at the push of a couple buttons so it went on to show my myself You never really know to a logical degree until you take it out of the box and incorporated into your system. I am still presently somewhat surprised, but I will not go as far to say that I am finished or ceased all vinyl operations, not quite yet, but purely the passing of time Awaits for no one. I never thought I would take to a media source such as this , but things happen. ….. At present you have the A6, and at this point in time the question is, you’re wondering about the T8 With out question 100% go for it try it out , thoroughly evaluate and make your decision. Hey inti, just my opinion, it’s tough to say at this point as we don’t know what changes or implementations of base electronics were made if any, also keep in mind that you are now going to have to obtain a Dac, as per you did not need one with A6, there may be a slight edge with the T8 as being engineered and redesigned to a certain degree to be a dedicated streamer unit Only, like I said, when the time comes, if everything permits, I would like to obtain one and do some comparisons before I would even think of making or implementing in any changes to anything existing that I am now currently using , when the time arrives after doing in depth, comparisons not only as far as sound, but other uses and amenities that I may be giving up or one situation may outweigh the other as these are all just assumptions as of this date I think you made a good move with the A6 Gold or masters unit or addition somewhat slightly better I would believe in the standard a6 there is certainly nothing wrong whatsoever with the standard A6 , I have a very old friend that has the ability to purchase or obtain just about any piece of gear or UNIT that he would desire and he chose chose the standard a A6 as he stated to me that UNIT more than filled all his desires and wants just use of a basic streamer, partly due to the fact, he runs external everything right down to completely separate power supplies on every unit not just one conditioner doing the entire system that is these are his wants and beliefs, and he is lucky enough to be able to do so I did not realize that the A6 masterss was a little bit or somewhat of a price jump. I do not retain a lot of knowledge of the A6 line up From my understanding, it is quite a nice upgrade from the standard model although I do believe in the long run depending on what you’re trying to accomplish I’m not certain it would make a huge difference, but definitely appears to be the better unit naturally but good luck to you and you wait for that transport player / T8 coming to town pretty soon and draw your conclusion and make your decision through conducting your best evaluation and go from there. Please keep in mind. This is this is my own observation and opinion as other users have their own agenda in lieu of what they are trying to find or or accomplish , have a good one. Enjoy the music. I always had a passion for this HIFI high-end stuff even sold it for about eight years nine years in the late 80s in the 1990s and I’ve been doing it since high school I’m giving away my age but it’s posted For at least damn good 50 years so I’m no expert by no means a lot of it is just my own personal opinion and beliefs through my own 50 years or so of experience, but I most certainly still really prefer separates units However, times have changed and electronics and devices have came a long way, but I always found separate dedicated units to perform and work their best. Plus, you always have the flexibility to changing one thing around or another without parting from the whole unit. Yeah, I was thinking about it myself and it got by me if you do pick up a T8. Which hopefully you will, you can use the Dac in your Eversolo A6 for the time being so at least you’re not taking a double hit. $$$ you seem like a guy that’s really into HIFI High End Audio in general that’s cool , you gave me a flashback for a moment kind of reminded me of the old days when people really exchanged ideas and gave you ideas shame it just doesn’t seem to exist today, —- anyways, more than enough said that’s for sure. Hi I am a 73 year old Hifi enthusiast I have a Accuphase e-5000 with a dac 60 onboard that I like and it sounds great with my Dynaudio Heritage Specials stand mounted speakers that’s why I’m looking at the T8 Transport i now I’m old but I still in-joy the music and the Hifi hardware it’s my favorite hobby so thank you Gentlemen

I have an Accuphase p-300 That I purchased I believe right after high school , I have to say one thing I could turn that amplifier on right now and to me it comes along just as good as it did decades ago , I wonder if they’ll be able to say that about today’s equipment I don’t know, but along with the T 100 tuner yeah I messed up. I sold the C 200 preamp. A good buddy of mine kept pounding me for it so I finally gave in. That’s wonderful. You got an awesome system there, I got hooked on the SET Road craziness 4 tube amps and a Mac SS AMP downstairs on the bottom, yeah, don’t take long wonderful system you have. I know all those models pretty well when you start throwing around names like that I still take a lot of slack about the Eversolo , But if you want to spend two grand more on something that I really can’t hear the difference and be my guest, so I told my buddy which he took with a grain of salt wow, very nice. Well, we better get off of here before members start getting a little planted. Excuse my expression for lack a better terminology. What are you doing? This is a Eversolo form while I’m absolutely would have to agree with that but if you own Eversolo UNIT, it is a form in away that does in someway concern the rest of your rig. Hello Nutul, I must admit, I can go on a tangent, I would imagine this is one of my shortcomings in life, as we are all human and all have our opinions along with very different personalities, I mean no offense or criticism, but you raised a very interesting point as sometime. I forget it is not Decades ago unfortunately the past is in the past and that’s where it belongs, however if one just seeks a simple, yes or no answer to a basic question as long as it remains in the core of the foundation of what the forum was founded for , I see it as an opportunity to perhaps discuss other situations as to whatever we were conversing on and perhaps gain knowledge from you as well as my limited knowledge for me, but it is beyond my understanding what interest one would have from any forum have to offer you with a yes, or no answer, in present day all one has to do is lift their cell phone or iPhone up And merely Google your question, I was very amazed. You guys are all right. I still pretend that if someone has a problem, and wants it to get solved, the best thing he's willing for is a straight, clean, technical answer. The chat, and all the emotional content that it can bring in is, of course, extremely important; yet, not the very first thing wanted to be gotten in a problem-solving-search context. @Biamp300B I read your whole post, and it was not easy...
