Any news about the connection loss to the Squeeze server after changing the used service? It's now for over a year a bug and I think, that a lot of LMS/Lyrics user want to see a solution.
Would really like this addressed and to sort out the volume oddness as it’s still not right. As soon as you use the LMS volume control when it’s over 60% it gets out of sync with DMP it does up in more increments than it should. Then if you adjust volume on the DMP it will then get a jump down in volume when you use the app to play another album and it syncs volume again.
Volume control much better on the latest firmware well done Eversolo Team, to finally sort this out. Now let’s please sort out the disconnection issues on source switching!!! Then the Eversoloes are perfect Lyrion players.
@Zidoo Support-Kim can you run something by the team to check out something in regard to Squeeze Connect not ever reconnecting I have a theory which is simple but may or may not be part of the issue. The UI when inside Squeezeconnect app has a server connection section and if this app is open on the Eversolo this pops open as soon as it loses connection to server due to a reboot/restart of LMS server or switching inputs. It always requires user action to reconnect so when it’s in background which it is when playing music or switching inputs I have a feeling it’s failing as it’s requiring manual input to reconnect rather than just auto connecting. Not sure why you need this as it should just advertise itself and the LMS server on the network will see and connect it automatically. This is how every other player works in LMS. There is no need to define a server to connect to, as long as it’s advertising itself via slimproto.
Another observation with the it disconnecting is it only does it if you have played something. If you do it from starting Squeeze Connect but don’t play anything you can switch and it doesn’t disconnect. Only after playing something via Squeeze Connect does this issue arise.
Also @Zidoo Support-Kim we still can’t add shortcut for Squeeze Connect in the Eversolo App. You can add to the screen on the device but this is the only connect app you can’t add to shortcuts on the App itself. Seems odd?
The following was noted with squeeze today (1.5.75 fw): now playing metadata and cover page disappeared after I waked up the T8 from standby, I was listening to the paradise. Restarting the service in the T8 (via the switch) helped.

Not everytime, if I can catch it again I'll make a screenshot. It's not stuck, just metadata and cover missing.
Do you mean you were listening to a song named paradise or...? I'm not sure about the meaning fo this sentence.

Have you tried taking to the developer of the plugin as it might be more related to that than the eversolo. Radio Paradise streams have been problematic from time to time. All working fine for me on my A8 get album art and metadata.
