Spotify Lossless / native app for Eversolo

I have Spotify lossless on my phone since yesterday. Tried everything on my A6 - spotify connect and the spotify app on the A6 - when trying to change the setting to lossless I get "This device is not compatble with lossless"

I tried on my other streamer (W pro) and there its working.

Hoping for an update soon ! The A6 is my absolute favorite streamer.

 

I live in Sydney AU I do have Spotify But on checking on my quality sound , I found not have lossless sound. The only choice I got is High quality sound and I had to selected manually . My conclusion is that in Australia in Sydney is not be implemented so far.

 

Based on the announcement, the lossless rollout will be enabled gradually, country by country.

I have never heard such a big amount of nonsense vomit in my entire life. If you cannot put together than 10 years vs 2 months is a more-than-acceptable time to study and implement a new protocol / API, then you are either completely illiterate about software development, or really gone out of neurons (on the second, probably only your mom could tell whether, for example, at age 2 you fell from the chair and seriously injured your head... and yet I already feel confident that was the case.)

Spotify Lossless is available in Germany from today on when updating the built in Spotify App on my DMP-A8. A red dot appeared on the app this morning. I did a long press on it, it updated and then it was possible to activate "lossless" streaming.

I tried the native app on my A6 with Avantgarde Zero 1 xd speakers and Starship Syncopation (Cory Wong) still sounds much better through Qobuz connect than lossless Spotify. Let’s hope the updated Spotify connect will bring more richness than the native one.

 

This statement makes almost no sense at all.
Keep in mind that LOSSLES SPOTIFY will possibly give you more detail / transients / black background, and all the audiophool blatancy; but still, it won't be night-and-day; this should be obvious.

 

When you read my comment like it was meant, it was a Spotify native vs Qobuz connect comparison, nothing more. When you are not interested, just don’t answer.

 

All right sir. Two different streaming platforms. Two different tools. Still comparisons about Qobuz connect is still better than Spotify lossless.
You know what? You should try a blind-listening test between the two platforms / tools.

But, before answering... have you indeed had a look / listen to the link? It's disturbing, I know, but can open your eyes (as it did to me - and I was shocked, no lies). Our senses can be fooled by expectation; especially when more of them are involved at the same time... another example: have you tried to dring plain water while smelling - and therefore also looking at - a lemon...?

I am In Sydney AU. Today I receive a request from Spotify to upgrade, I did and after reset the audio quality on my Spotify finally I got lossless on my Eversolo mp-10 system. be aware that if u tray to connect your latest Iphone the Eversolo will give u a message that the machine is not compatible but that is missleading is not Eversolo but is the iPhone, I belive 16,17 . My older 8 years old iPhone is ok. Therefore if u receive incompatibility issue do not blame your machine. If u receive incopatibility message reset by swich, on/of and reset the audio to lossless. About the quality it sound much better than before I believe that I will keep Spotify on my system. I do have qobuz the sound is very good but spotify seem to be more intelligent as app, my personal opinion.

 

Ok, nice. So this worked without an upgrade from Eversolo?

 

yes it dos and is straight-for with no issue but remember that if u conect Iphone 16 or 17 pro max Eversolo will revert back to the old setting however I do not have any problem with my old Iphone 11 pro max the old phone can be set to lossless. I had another look today and yes iPhone 16 pro max is not compatible with lossless on Spotify therefore as soon u have a connection Eversolo revert it self to the Iphone setting and if u tray to retify it will give u a massage that the system is not compatible

 

Received Spotify lossless, when I connect the DMP-8, lossless can't be activated, an update is needed
