Since I had updated to 1.20 I'm facing issues every time I start kodi.. There is no sound on output or I get static noise. I'm using a Yamaha receiver with passtrhu audio settings in Android. To fix this I have to disable and re-enable audio passthru. Quite annoying. Video also is not fluid (I'm using just HD, no 2k or 4k) Can anyone confirm it?
Absolotely confirm. For the sound, the fix is to pause the video and then replay. The noise is gone. The video is not fluid, nor internal player nor kodi. PLease fix. It's the most important thing. The problem is the automatic freash rate that it's not perfect
It seems the same problem that afflicts netflix, so the problem is low level! maybe it's a good thing!
Me to... Same observations with denon AVR and passthrough enable. And the video in not fluid and has erratic behavior(especially with x265 10b files). Sometimes is fantastic and sometimes is so so. I think it has something to do with new mediacodec
I've disabled the auto frame switch option and now the playback is back to normal Also it seems that audio problems were solved by this switch So Zidoo, I would say that the new framerate switch is not a working feature at this moment, as it brings issues also
