Some news for X10/X9S/X8

I start to have big doubts about it, think about it: learn more, of poster wall speaks just about poster and organization movie, not a word about an ziui 4k

 

Or poss ziui 4K will come later as a new os look
And maybe Android 7.1 ?

I think the Poster wall 2.0 will replace the apk Home Theater

and new ZIUI will be the new main menu/interface

right now i was reading some previous posts of this thread...according to different users (more expert) x10 could seems can upgraded to android 7.1...bah dreaming does not cost anything (i m not sure if english correct )

Android 7.1 may or may not come depends on a few things
Could be easier coming out with newer boxes than ours X9S plus / X10s ?

Competition Dune , Zapitti go Android 7.1 on the same chipset as our boxes forcing Zidoo to go ?

Or just further develop and tweak Android 6.01
But never to go Dolby Vision .

 

I have the feeling Dune HD Pro 4K Ultra will be released earlier that Zidoo X20. Looks like a duplicate just labeled differently and must come from the same source (they merged?).

As Dune is higher on the market chain it might be released first or even only.

 

Think Dune is April release date ?

Think Zidoo come out with there version first
Then later on Dune did .
But the photo was removed off Dune site as it showed identical resemblence etc

Id imagine they will be on Android 7.1

But as of late been very quite ......

About future release of X20 and possibility it will be equipped with android 7: I think that X20 release can only be positive think: hardware it seems anyway very similar to previous release (x9s - x10), maybe it could serve to tow previous generation of zidoo box with new implentation

A small question: does anyone else have impression that there are (just take a look at geekbuying) many boxes that all look the same apart the brand (printed mark on them)?

Are there really all these manufacturers?

Look the same but specs are not. Look at this one (only one antenna rockchip and no hdmi input but look like X9S)

Often similar box different wifi... It could be very different to like with other mainboard.

 

Specs of Wi-Fi, RAM and Flash are very easy to change as these are soldered but separate chips not being integral part of the SOC chipset.
This is a similar physical box but with a different SOC/chipset.

They all buy their HW components from big suppliers and just assemble those. Look at the remotes they all look similar and occasionally even inter-work. The same is valid for the housing, front display and PSU.

Yes it's a clone of the X9s...

it was the same story with zappiti 1 year ago, and those who will want to pay more for the same thing will take a Dune or a zappiti.

Who cares about Dune in Zidoo forum?

 

Given that Dune are at least trying to upgrade whats available for audiophiles I would like to think that Zidoo would care.
Hopefully it will add a sense of urgency to confirm the release of the X20.
The current X9s is woefully lacking in this area and the X10 doesnt offer much more than SACD.

 

It all makes a diff to keep an eye on competitors so to speak
If for example Dune went Android 7.1 or ......
Dolby Vision
And Zidoo did not on there box’s

Would you not ask why ?

Always a good idea to keep a track / an eye on other manufactures .

 

It probably is a matter of an A-Brand (Dune) and a B-Brand (Zidoo) from the same mother company.
For some a good reason to spend more money. FW quality could make all the difference.
