    Hello everyone,
I'm experiencing a specific issue with the built-in Emby client on my Zidoo Z9X 8K (1.3.05).

    The Problem:
Inside the built-in Emby client on Zidoo:
Home Screen works: I can see "Continue Watching", "Latest Movies", and "Recommendations".
Playback works: I can play any movie from the Home Screen or via the Search function. Time-codes (resume points) are synced correctly.
The Bug: When I enter any library category (Movies, TV Shows, or Collections), the screen shows "No video list".
Folder View: If I go to "Folders" inside the library, I can see the top-level directories (e.g., VIDEO, Series), but as soon as I enter them, it says "No video list" again.

    What I have tried:
Verified that the official Emby for Android TV app works and displays lists correctly (but it has GUI scaling issues on Zidoo, so I prefer the built-in one).
Created a brand new library in Emby with only 5 files to test — the result is the same: "No video list".
Restarted the server and cleared the Zidoo Media Center cache.
The issue persists even though the Emby server logs show no "Access Denied" errors when the Zidoo client requests library items.

Emby Server 4.9.3.0 running on a Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS 6.8.0-101-generic.
No issues with the same server on other LAN devices (e.g. CoreElec with Emby-for-Kodi-NextGen, Kodi on Google TV Streamer)
No issues with the same media library from Plex Built-in.

    Thanks.

What do you mean by "built-in Emby client"?

The issue is solved by switching to English interface in global settings.

Thank you, yes, and the native client for Emby behaves as I described if the interface language is not English. (RU in my case).

I tried to connect it to my emby server, but it will not connect. it does not even see it. I tried entering the info myself, but it still can not find it. do I use my Home lan access? nevermind 3rd times the charm

edit: actually, it is better to download the actual app cause the one built in has no settings or features, its just bare bones, whilst the app, when you set it to use an external app, it uses the Zidoo player by default, so there is no benefit in using the Zidoo built-in Emby.
