I purschased a Xidoo X8 1 year ago. I have an iMac (High Sierra) I quickly notice with buffering issue on NFS so I have to install samba (smb2) and it was working well (everything is wired in Giga-ethernet) I have the supidity to make a firmware upgrade (last one available) and now I m screwed because the SMB authentication seems broken. I have a linux server on the same LAN and NFS works very well (Jellyfish video @300 Mbps plays fine) of course the issue came from the zidoo. I m using the default player, the one from te "media center", I don't like a other one. So to sum up NFS and SMB is broken with an MACOS, and kiddo team is doing nothing to correct this ? PS: I even tried the last beta firmware available
Hi, My samba server is already configured to negotiate only smbv1. He used to work before this fucking upgrade to the last firmware
It’s gotta be something screwy with MacOS. I have SMVv1 enabled on my synology NAS and have zero problems. Is this an X8 or am X9S? This is the X9S forum.
