Hello everyone, the service team in Germany provided excellent help on my second attempt; I am very satisfied. My second F10 is now back in my system. I’m sharing this because it is important to share positive experiences, too—not just negative ones.
It kept cutting out, yet the VU meter continued to show a signal. After the initial repair, the VU meter's illumination failed as well; I have since received a new F10.
im lucky, have no issues with both F10. I had only a PSU replacement for the small DMP-A6gen2ME, also DE service (eversolo.de - FutureStyle GmbH) but this took few weeks as they had to wait for spare PSUs, there was a serial issue with the PSUs, so they had to replace for many customers. Glad this was only my small player and i could live without for some weeks.
I think it’s the norm for the F10 not to give any trouble; I haven’t really read about issues anywhere online. But the situation with my second F10 was bizarre—you expect a power amp to just be dead if it’s malfunctioning, not to show a signal but produce no sound, only to work again later and then fail once more. The main thing, though, is that I’m 100% satisfied with my Eversolo products; I’m getting a Z10 this week ;-)
Glad they took care of you and replaced it for you. F10 seems to have nice specs to it. I had a Moon 860A V2 and thought about buying a second one and using them as mono blocks. That would have been less than buying a new amp and preamp. LOL
