Searching Issue Persists

I noticed a problem with searching function in version 1.5.46. When you enter a group name in the search field, the results in the artist list show both artists in the local library and those in streaming services. However, the results in the album list only show those in streaming services. Those in the local library are not displayed.

 

Thank you for your feedback. This issue has been replicated, and it's pending to be solved.

Hi Nuelan, I checked the function again, it's designed to search tracks, artists, and albums separately, without cross-category support. Your request has been forwarded as a suggestion. Sorry for any confusion.

 

Thank you @Zidoo Support-Kim , actually cross-category is supported. For example, if I put an artist name in the research field, and look at the Albums tabs, it shows all the albums of this artist which is a nice feature. The problem is that it only shows albums from the streaming service source and not those in the local library. Why that?

 

Understood. It's said that the online metadata will be more detailed than the local files, so they are accessible though the cross-category has not been designed yet.

 

I wish search results to include only my local files (i.e. excluding streaming service) Where, how can I achieve this? Unchecking something?

Thank you for your reply, Kim. Where do I find this 'Filter' function? I searches with the EverSolo app on either my phone or tablet. I never search with the streamer (it is placed 3 metres away from the listening position).

 

Oh, you're using app. On the app, you need to tap the bar to see the filter.
