Root not working for Kodi 17 beta

I tried the 1.2.8 beta build, then installed the root app.
The new ZDMC version will work for deleting files etc.. but the kodi 17 version still will not.
Can not delete, rename copy etc..

Is there something we can do to get kodi 17 to have root access?

Check your Root with Root Checker or another App, but not with KODI

because the android6.0 have new permission mechanism.
we change it in ZDMC, and the kodi 17 have not it.

 

17 only works on android 6.

Are you saying that kodi 17 did not even give its own file manager proper permissions?

 

the android6.0 is the dynamic permission, if you want some permission, you must add some permission in your code, not only in the manifest file.
but the KODI17 only have the permission statement in the manifest file.
