Room correction setup advice needed

Looking for some help getting an external mic set up. I picked up a Behringer ECM8000 condenser XLR mic, and have borrowed a Steinberg UR 22C audio interface. The DMP-A6 sees the audio interface as a microphone. However the test tone is just outside of the target range and none of the gain or output controls on the Steinberg have any effect. I have 48v phantom power switched on. The interface is powered by the USB connection to the A6. If I run the test anyway I can see clipping in the output graph. I’d like to be able to use the built in room correction rather than having to download software and create it externally. Can anyone advise on where I might be going wrong?

IMHO upoi need to fine-tune the input gain and the output level of your interface...

As I said above. Neither the gain or output controls have any effect. Neither does adjusting the volume of my amp. It consistently measures in the red zone

You are using the inputs of your interface as MIC, not as INSTRUMENT, right...?

Or... your interface is providing line-level output, as it processes the MIC... probably not the best way to go into the Eversolo?
There is probably some reason they require a USB microphone instead of an analog one + audio IF.

This could be used in a software like REW, but as you said, you prefer to not follow this path.

I found a workaround…Using the mic and interface as an external mic for my iPad

    That should work equally well.
