For now i have no dac .exasound , okto dac and topping sells 8 channel usb dac

It does. You just have to have something with 8-channel analog-in or at least 6-channel. That is harder to find these days.

Good new if it works !
    Yes it's hard.
So you sell your exasound ?

I'm using also an exaSound e68 DAC (formerly an Okto, but the exaSound sounds for me much better and the Okto has only balanced outputs and is limited to DSD128).
I wouldn't pair the exaSound with the DMP-A6, because the DAC uses very special ASIO drivers (also for MacOS!) for getting DSD512 (stereo) and DSD256 (until 8 channels).
The exaSound sigma streamer or (how I using it) a fanless mini pc with windows is here the much better source.

    @mlknez
have you really try if multichannel on dmp-a6 usb work with your exasound ?

I received mail from eversolo saying it's not work

Not tried it with the eversolo, but in general the exaSound doesn't works (without the special not public drivers used in the sigma streamer) under Linux/Android.
The Okto Research DACs should working (only tested with Ropieee and Ubuntu) with the eversolo devices.

No time for this, but I'm sure, that exaSound DACs are not working with the DMP-A6.

Hi Everyone, I am getting ready to set up my Eversolo DMP-A6, I have a couple of questions and need direction as I am a newbie to streaming. After reading and studying what is being used by others my set up will be this:

Eversolo DMP-A6> 3.0 USB using Tubulus Concentus USB cable>Denafrips Hermes DDC>Tubulas Concentus I2S out>Denafrips Pontus 15th DAC via I2S. Does that sound correct? I have almost finished the process of ripping my large collection of cd's to flac, I have also ripped my DVD-Audio & Quad discs and will soon begin ripping SACD's to flac with my Oppo 105. I was going to go HDMI out of the Eversolo DMP-A6 straight into my Marantz 8805A preamp in order to maintain multichannel playback for some of my discs. Does anyone connect their Oppo into an external DAC or Eversolo streamer? Would the Denafrips be better than the Oppo?

I am also looking at a Roon Nucleus, for organization and I like the thought of having my Music library accessible through Roon ARC when I travel, does the Roon Nucleus connect into the Eversolo streamer or is it to be connected via the external Denafrips DAC? or neither of them? If it did connect on the Eversolo, would it be via the USB-C input?

Lastly, I have read so much about utilizing HQPlayer via a separate M4 Mac Mini, though some have said the software set up is complex. Is this worth it?

My dream DAC would have been the Halo May KTE....maybe later...thx for any input

Connect the A6 to the 8805 via hdmi for all dsd <dsd128 and multichannel pcm. It will still not support Atmos, Auro-3d, DTS-X or MPEG-H yet though.

Correct as these codecs were originally made for Video with Audio. The Zidoo 8K models will play these. Maybe it ever comes for DMP-A6?
Use a Zidoo Z9X 8K myself for BD music/concert albums I own too. One can convert to MCH FLAC too for local content. Did that for my DVD-Audio albums.

Incorrect. I purchased the UHD8000 to test that and it CANNOT play music-only object formats!

I would simplify as follow to achieve probably the same result:

Eversolo DMP-A6> USB out > Denafrips Pontus 15th DAC via USB in.

The Pontus will buffer any digital input the same way (STM chip) via dual PLL for USB.
Don't bother with I2S, you might be adding jitter to your system.

For SACD, keep them as ISO (preferred) or extracted DSF, don't convert to FLAC.
Your Denafrips or OPPO can play DSD natively.

Denafrips won't do multi-ch so OPPO it is.

Denafrips sounds better than OPPO (was using an OPPO 205 initially but the bass was messy, the Pontus made things right again).

We have almost the same setup:

    Stereo
    DMP-A6 > USB > Denafrips Pontus

    Multi-ch
    DMP-A6 > HDMI > OPPO 205

Indeed they need to be wrapped into a Video container first. They are played with the Video Player not the Music Player next by UHD8000.
    Maybe it will ever come?

Nice setup but too costly for me. :(

    Added bonus:

There are (cost-free) ways to jailbreak your OPPO 103/105 and 203/205 to be able to play SACD ISOs and BD Audio ISOs as backups.

This way the DMP-A6 can even become an ISO NAS to the OPPO for multi-ch music.

My OPPO 203 runs custom (Russian modified) FW since I got it. Was the last FW version from OPPO anyway so little risk as going back is not that easy.
Use a 5x HDD docking station with an USB switch instead of a NAS. The player switched on gets the HDD tower automatically. Very flexible with any disc size, any number HDD and hot swappable.

It's been a hot second since I've used the DMP-A6 but my friend asked me if he could set all output on to be upscaled DSD 128 for all apps and music coming out of it. I could not answer it as could not remember if that's an option. Can it?
