Hi ! I tried the new 1.7.8 Beta, but found it too buggy... I am trying to find an install.img to do an emergency firmware update, but can not find any such file online... can anyone help with this ? how do I restore my X20 Pro back to 1.2.29 ??? Please Help !!! Thanks !
Thanks, but that is not what I am looking for... this is just the standard ota update... can not use it to downgrade from 1.7.8... I need a full system image, I found one for the X20, but not sure is the same one for the Pro... need to be double size of the ota... a full sytem restore...
I am not sure a ROM-image already was released for the RTD1296DD based players. I am sure there is none yet for Z9S and Z10. No you can't use X20 firmware for X20 Pro.

I actully just found this page now ! https://www.zidoo.tv/Support/support_guide/guide_target/s4IATT9GbZ7eq7k9e[ld]3ulg==.html It has a more recent image, and instructions how to restore... however, they warn that this process will delete all user data, and as I have 2 4TB disks inside the zidoo full with movies and shows, and already arranged in the poster wall, I am starting to have second thoughts about doing the restore, It took me a long time to fix all the bad names and images in the wall, and I really don't want to do it again... maybe I will just wait until there is a newer firmware, that will fix the bugs in the 1.7.8 Beta...
