I've found several references to SiriusXM in specific device sections, but nothing for all the Eversolo streamers (DMP-*, T8, etc). I'd like to request that Eversolo please consider adding SiriusXM as a native, built-in application to the system. I get that it is not a high-res streaming service, but it is a great way to discover new music and then dig deeper in the other services (i.e. Qobuz, Tidal, Apple Music, etc.). In my case, I have SiriusXM on while I'm working and if I hear something I like, I take note of it and then come back to it later when I have time to listen more in high quality. I also enjoy some of the shows that can be found and even some of the sports and talk stations. Sonos, BlueSound, and even Amazon Echo all support SiriusXM natively - it's one of the reasons I have my BlueSound NODE ICON (which is in the same category as the DMP-A6 products) and keeps me from going all-in on the Eversolo ecosystem. I hope this will be considered and hopefully there are others that might have the same request. Thank you
I requested this back in August...crickets. It's unfortunate because sideloading an APK can be a PITA. I listen to SiriusXM almost exclusively these days. I find that their stream quality is much better over the 'net too.
We have contacted SiriusXM many times to request API integration, but have not received a response. It would be great if any of you could help us get in touch with them.
Bump As there is still no new momentum on this. I contacted SiriusXm and of course I spoke with generic support person who promised to forward my request. As I was listening tonight, I found that the SiriusXM API lacks the ability change any stream settings. While the stream sounds good, I have no idea if I'm streaming at the max bitrate.
Any news on this, especially with the new DMP-A8 gen 2 with the enhanced UI, it would be really great to have this be native.
I'm pretty happy that at least now you can view what's playing and see proper album art like the regular playback screen. Still no integration with the Eversolo app on your TV however.
Yes, the Android app is much better, would be really cool if the Eversolo screen could at least pull up the album artwork while we wait for them to connect with SiriusXM to build something native. Frankly, I'm surprise it hasn't happened since companies like NAD (BlueSound), SONOS, and even Gracenote and Amazon Echo devices have had it for years. Maybe I'm in my audiophile bubble, but feels like Eversolo is a really big brand now and SiriusXM would be excited to work with them.
hmmm, just did the side load for my T10 and just get an "e" instead of cover art. Any chance you could post a link to the download you used?
I wonder if it is version specific, I’m using 7.29.2, or maybe some channels work and others don’t? please share the version you’re using of the app. thanks
That's the same screen I get within the SiriusXM application - and it's a big improvement as that didn't show up until the last few versions of the app. What I think that @Rex is showing that, with his version, the album art that shows in the SiriusXM app, is showing on the native Eversolo app as well - which is *EXACTLY* what I'd love to see on my DMP-A8.
wait what....there's a native Eversolo for the A8??? I would think they could've moved it to the T10 then. I'll put up with it for apple (cause I use tidal mostly) but really not for Sirius.
Sorry there isn’t a native SiriusXM app for Eversolo. That’s what this thread is asking for. what I meant was the now playing screen. When the SiriusXM app is running, if you click on the spinning icon in the upper right corner, it takes you to the now playing screen and that’s what I screen shot and @Rex is getting album art on.
