If you set "Auto" it doesn't matter what the VS10 settings are - they are ignored.

If I were to use advance HDR but leave everything with no, isn't VS10 being ignored as well?

Well, yes of course, that's what "Dolby Vision VS10 for *** = "No" means - no VS10.

But as I say there are exceptions of Dolby Vision Profile 7/8 being displayed natively or Dolby Vision Profile 5 either being displayed as Dolby Vision or converted (since Profile 5 does not have a compatibility layer, if cannot be converted with the AML engine).

@Markswift2003 When do you recommend using VS10?

I have an Epson LS12000 with LLDV enabled using the xnappo holy grail settings on avsforum with always Dolby Vision and forced HDR on the projector.

These are my current settings on Zidoo. They work quite well, but I wonder if VS10 should be on or off for the different formats?

Hello, I have Zidoo UHD 8000, FV 1.3.05(using separate HDMI output for video&sound) and Yamaha A8A AV receiver. Unfortunately I also have the same problem with playing DTS-HD HRA(No sound).
In case of Zidoo UHD 5000, it can be played perfectly with DTS-HD HRA. I believe this issue(separate HDMI output)need to be reported to Zidoo support ASAP. Thank you

Are you using UHD 8000 or Z3000 PRO??
In my case, UHD 5000 is able to play DTS-HD HRA when using audio output HDMI. But UHD 8000 can not path through the signal to Yamaha A8A when using audio output HDMI.
And the other sound formats(DTS-HD MA, ATMOS...)have no problem.

@Markswift2003; although overall very pleased with the unit, the HDMI resyncs are a bit annoying. Am I setting everything correct to minimize them?

    1. Playback/auto frame rate/local playback: Set to match frame rate only
    2. Display/Resolution: Set to 3840x2160 23.976
    3. DV Output: TV Led
    4. HDR Output: Everything outputs to DV with VS10

Is all this correct and is there anything else I need to do? Thanks.

Yes that all looks good - in that case you should only ever see a resync if framerate changes, so I'd say 90% of content should not resync as it'll be 23.976fps.
