Quick Fix Released for Poster Wall App Matching Issues

Even YT-trailers are working for movies again, amazing!

 

It would be nice to be able to avoid the black gradient on the background of the movie sheet. Or have the choice in the HT5 settings to display it or revert to the old version of the movie sheet.

 

DO NOT UPGRADE WITH THESE FILES.

IF YOU USE THE 1295 VERSION YOU WILL TRASH YOUR DATABASE AND HT WILL BE UNUSABLE

THESE ARE INTERNAL BETAS AND THERE ARE ISSUES TO BE FIXED.

@McBluna SHOULD NOT HAVE RELEASED THESE FILES WITHOUT TESTING THEM HIMSELF FIRST (WHICH OF COURSE HE NEVER DOES).

 

Has anyone else noticed since the patch that there is an issue with syncing info for ripped files?
I just ripped a tv series to mkv files and added it to my server.
The zidoo recognized it, no problem.
But some episodes won't show the info such as duration, audio format and frame rate.
Pressing the more info button does nothing.
As I say it's not all episodes, probably about 70%.
Oh, I'm using the Z9X PRO FYI.

I have the same issue uploading the files to NAS and the HT is still ON. Once the upload during the HT off and turn the HT on later, there was no problem.

 

Poster are now working but now when I go into a movie it freezes and I have to shutdown the unit.

 

Which box?

 

Any update on the X9S and should the app work with the poster wall - I seem to remember doing much of the early matching using my phone, but it's not obvious now how to do this - I might be getting confused with a Dune.

 

I expect a version for the X9S and other 1295 boxes this week.

I have installed v4-3-42 on my z2000pro

 

I have the Z9X PRO it Freezes when you are waiting on the menu of the movie. I could be wrong but it could be when it is trying to load the custom trailer I put for the movie.

 

I only had severe issues on the 1295 box - I'm waiting for an update from Zidoo about it.

You'll be fine on a Z2000Pro but it has no advantage over v4.3.40.

 

Easy to test - just remove or rename the custom trailer.

 

Can you remind me how to downgrade from .42 to .40? UHD3000

 

Z9 X. Yes now all works again. But since I did this I encountered a strange thing. I have normal HD, that works fine. But I have a Box With 5 hard discs together. When I play from that box, the player crashes!!!

Now I have also a Z9S. The Hard disc box works perfect still on that one.

Is very annoying, and not know what to do about it. The box was working fine on the Z9 X until last week, when I used it...

 

I have UHD5000 and I have the same issue. The player crashes consistently when playing movies from both the internal drive and the NAS.

 

For anyone with similar issue:
ISSUE - Z9X - HT5 fails to load with latest default bios, black screen for 1-2 sec then drops to home page.
FIX - update to latest beta bios by ticking beta box on update screen.
