I recently signed up for the Qobuz Connect beta test for my WiiM Ultra and Pro. I was wondering if Qobuz Connect is or will be offered for Eversolo streamers. When I signed up for the beta program there was a graphic on the sign up page that showed a DMP-A6. I had to register both the Ultra and the Pro. At the same time I registered my DMP-A6 as well. I just started using Qobuz Connect with the Pro and will try it with the Ultra as well. I'd be great if it also worked with the DMP-A6. I have yet to update to the latest firmware (1.3.80) out of concern for possible issues.
Sent my MAC address and Serial Number for my A6 yesterday. Will advise if/when I get the invite to install the Test Pilot Qobuz Connect app…. Fingers crossed!
Hello, have acces today of the Qobuz beta connect with my dmp-a8. Run for about 4 hours and no problems for the moment (windows and ios Qobuz app)
So, I received the beta email (TestFlight via Apple) last week. No Qobuz Connect capability. Had to email back and forth a few times with support, but can now cast to the DMPA6 works well so far
Thanks. So do we have some information when the beta test period is planned to end? Is the official release of QConnect for DMP models managed by Eversolo or Qobuz (coordinated with many different manufacturers testing their models) ?
It’s still via TestFlight on iOS and the app says 'beta' right there on the icon. I’ve not seen any communication regarding the length of time of the beta Qobuz Connect (beta) seems to be administered by Qobuz and, while compatible with the DMP-A6, is not controlled in any way by Eversolo (IMO)
