HoneCharles Your Image of posting #12 is exactly what I have ( no space before the addresses. The exception is that I still cant connect and don't have the CONNECT button as bright.
If Fredrika has cured this, please describe how.

you have tu out in netmask and dns and gateway complete - it looks light coloured - this is the given standard but will not taken, if you do not put it in by hand - oki?

 

Garry - DNS 1, not correct.
DNS 1 = Correct value: 192.168.1.1
DNS 2 = 8.8.4.4 is ok

I think Fredrika mean literally "overwrite".
I hope Zidoo developers will handle in a better way the interface input field in next release, to avoid this kind of trivial issue.

Hi thanks for the suggestions of those above. Developers need to sort out these glitches with field entry.
GOOD NEWS - Working now with STATIC IP address entry

Have re-entered all ETHERNET addresses.
Don't leave any field with slightly greyed and unbolded text eg even in DNS2 with DNS 2 = 8.8.4.4
Note even with re entry of digits, some of the last digits don't seem bold. Thats OK
The CONNECT button works and I'm on STATIC IP MODE

YOU COULD SAY, "I'M NOW ECSTATIC" eg very happy and excited.
