Problem whith IPTV Simple PVR Client after 1.2.9 firmware update

It's true, PVR IPTV simple client don't work after update to 1.2.9 firmware

 

so the same for pvr-addons-vu+ not working.

 

same for me: PVR IPTV simple client doesn't work.

 

the same with pvr tvheadend htsp client addon

 

Also for me every PVR add-on dosen't work ! Ando not only !
If you try to see every channel with a video add-on ziddo with its own pop-up say "impossible to play video" !!!
What happened?

 

I enabled debuggigng and in the log file i got error: "unable load/locate hts.so library".
Then I have opened zdmc install package (apk) and compared to kodi apk. Library folder lacks many *.so libraries (no PVR libraries there) - perhaps they are not compiled in. Does anyone know where that libraries should be installed? I would try copy PVR libraries there manually.

 

After a full reset the problem is still on....

 

did you also try with the new signed ZDMC.apk, thats under the firmware ? you need to uninstall the old one to install the new one.

 

there is no required libs in the new signed apk.

 

if you don't need passtrough, then install pure kodi and use that.

 

I've tried pure kodi - it plays video (or TV) a few seconds only, then image freezes while audio still playing. then i tried factory reset and then ZDMC and then kodi. Nothing changed.

 

Finally got it working. had to repackage zdmc....apk with missing libraries included (from kodi.....apk).
It took for me - dumb user - with the google help do that in 1 hour. Why zidoo team cannot fix that quickly?

Google keywords and steps if some want do the same:
apktool - decode zdmc... apk
apktool - decode kodi... apk
- copy missing libs from lib folder
apktool - build zido... apk
signapk - sign freshly built apk
- reinstall zdmc
