I have a couple of things that really impact the full adoption of the plex app on the Zidoo. I was curious if there was any possibility the Zidoo team might evaluate a couple of small quality of life enhancements? 1.) The native HT 5 app (and I think almost every plex client interface besides the zidoo version) offers a vertical alphabet on the right side of the screen when looking at movie posters and when that list is sorted alphabetically. I GREATLY miss being able to scroll down to the "O"s when I want to watch a movie that starts with the letter O. 2.) Is there any ability to display collections in the app? I have a number of collections that pop up that are either seasonal or just popular lists. Sometimes I'm not sure what we want to watch for the evening, and being able to pull up a list of IMDB top 250 or something that I've already curated would be really amazing. 3.) With most plex clients, when looking at TV content, after selecting a season, I can get a summary of each episode. This is missing and the only option is the blue episode number to select an episode, but I get no summary of what that episode is about. 4.) I'd love to have an "info" option like most plex clients that allow me to see the details of the stream - bitrate, dolby profile, audio codecs, languages, etc. Now, I may be asking for the features on the plex app because it's less problematic than HT 5, so I acknowledge that, BUT, we use plex as a family on all other devices. I would be nice to have watch state / customizations follow me from the theater experience to other devices in the home. That said, I LOVE the interface of HT 5, but I continue to run into issues where HT 5 won't play back the clip, but the Plex app does without issue. And to be clear, it's the same playback engine. Updating the above post... I found some screen shots of the app and now see the collections are available in the filter view. I expected them across the top of the interface, but was delighted to see those available in the standard sorting. Item #2 is already available! User error! Heck, maybe I'll find most of these items are resolved / available as I explore more!
