When will Eversolo take further advantage of the HDMI out port and support object music formats via bitstreaming? It is a simple thing to do and will require no additional license fees to implement since it is the decoder that pays the fees...

    Atmos
    DTS:x
    Auro3D
    MPEG-H
    Eclipsa

They would be the first music streamer on the market with this feature and have a locked-in customer base.

Can you elaborate on this, please?

Enumerate the new file formats for acceptance/support. Then you bitstream them out in the same way that native dsd over HDMI is currently handled.

What is worse is they KNOW that this is possible already. On their Zidoo product line, they can play these files now. I would switch to the Zidooo UHD8000 but it treats all object files as video and thus messes up the music and video libraries.

    @mlknez
with my statement I really meant: "how can you tell it is a simple thing to do". Or, in other words, are you an experienced developer in audio projects (as I am, by the way)?
Video and audio standards are (still) slightly different, although from a not technically prepared user they might seem, as you suggest, "easy" to implement.

I wrote my own player for Windows years ago. I wanted to avoid the windows sound mixer. Not pretty, but it gets the job done. In no way am i a professional.

Yep... Android has a very similar problem; IIRC it resamples everything to 48 kHz. Unless you bypass its engine - and that's what Eversolo does with its own EOS.
Writing a player is not easy, I may understand, but "streaming" timed, untouched audio data from any source to any different audio transport is what I would call "a task for the chosen"; hence my question.
I have been involved in a project aimed at connectiong musicians worlwide (during the pandemic) to (try to) allow them to rehearsal in real-time, irrelevant (almost, of course) of their distance from each other.
It was not something you could build based on some library, or existing project... it had to be peer-to-peer over the internet, without the need of opening ports in your router to allow incoming, unsolicited requests (a musician is not necessarily a network specialist, right? - although in my case, yes, he is).

If you just want to have a look at the project (it's not finished yet, due to funding... of course) google groovesetter, or have a peek in YouTube too, there is a channel IINW.
It's a very interesting thing, considering we achieved 12ms latency from coast to coast, which is enough to play, and record, in real time. (12ms = 6m / 18ft at the speed of sound, which is the average distance musicians share on stage in live venues, just to get the idea...)

Do the Eversolo engineers read and reply to this forum or is it only customer service?

Excellent question, however, from my casual observations,, any or all information pertaining as such that appears or seems to be
Only alerted as to the severity in nature of what particular problem or problems, I believe, engineering department personnel
Are more than likely to be notified as purely, alas resort,, and all changes or alterations or problematic situations
That may affect or have a direct impact on consumer sales, I honestly do believe such information or implement of change
or rectification of any problem, things of this nature to myself or what we used to call a, Executive decision,
Only then, with such information be forwarded and applied in situations that rise in that nature
Purely my own opinion and belief from actually saying and witnessing as such in other areas that had
we have nothing to do with electronics or audio, board meetings in general are all about the same profit margin
what’s the bottom line , if something appears to be in decline , only then would personnel as such be notified

Sorry for somewhat of a sad answer to question, but only as of myself actually witnessing such
That particular area that you question or is in question, As far as any
Forum, questions, or problems , Your direct answers purely come from customer service
Representatives, in which are precisely and rigidly coached on what to say
And how to say it give advice or opinion … This was exactly the way I have seen
This at work, As far as to any advice or answers, some through state, I will get back to you,
Due to questions or answers that they are not in liberty to discuss more openly in nature

    anyway have a wonderful weekend please enjoy your music at your Audio equipment ;-}

Not the developers themselves, AFAIK, but some people in the QA dept actuslly DO, and report.
Bear in mind that feature-requests automatically go down the line of priority, in favor of critical bug reports. This is, as it always has been, in any software development chain.

I know this will be controversial... I feel that a music player that plays music files, should play my music files... It is not a new feature. :p

Room correction, new vu meters, etc .. those are new features

What about using a (cheap) media player (handling video formats) to do this. Use one for playing above all BD concert albums and BD Pure Audio albums.

Thank you for the suggestion. I currently use a home theater computer to play all of my music-only object formats but i would prefer to use my dedicated music player, the Eversolo A6.
