For some reason, I can't upload a link to the website of the developers of my ADC/DAC here. https://liskaudio dot ru/mux / or a screenshot with the MEASURED characteristics of the device. If anyone is interested, go to the developer's website and take a look. Separate digital UX3 and analog MOD3.3 cards are the basis of this DAC. Come in, take a look, it's very interesting. The site is in Russian, though. But the technical specifications and photos will be clear.
LMAO, do you also have information on flat earth and 5G? ps: Amir reviewed the DMP-A6 and DMP-A8 and had only words of appreciation and recommending both Eversolo products.
Exactly! Not only did he have words of appreciation and a recommendation but also backed it up with bench tests that were outstanding!
Price is now out … not far from my earlier speculation … U$3680 Not sure if Onkyo AVR is its competition. It’s cheaper than HifiRose or Naim streamer.
That is what I did with the Eversolo DAC-Z8. I arranged with an esteemed member on the forum to send one to Amir, which he did, posted the full review on the website and I was fully satisfied with the results. Presumably this can be done too with this new model. With it's very limited use capabilities, I'm out - seems it will be a very expensive waste of time and money - just my opinion
I don't respect Amir. He is not a competent corrupt blogger The funny thing is that Amir and others like him do not use the signal spectrum in any way and do not comment on anything. Why? Because they themselves don’t know where to look. The conclusion from the chart is extremely strange: "I recommend buying." There is no connection between the graph and this phrase. His claims that distortions below 0.001% cannot be heard by the ear are not confirmed by anything. Having a voltmeter that was given to him does not make a scientist and does not give him the right to draw such conclusions. There have been many studies over the past 50 years that the audibility of tract distortions does not depend on the Kg, but on the nature of non-linearities. Certain types of distortion are masked, while others are immediately audible. Sound quality is not measured in dB, kg, cm, Volts, Newtons, Joules, Pascals, moles, degrees Kelvin and other equally important and deeply scientific words. You cannot recommend buying something in the name of the Pythagorean theorem. This is just an anti-scientific approach. Measurements should reflect the essence of the phenomenon being studied. The relationship between the parameter and the sound quality must be strictly proven. And this is all bad. There are many studies about the lack of communication. Except that obviously faulty equipment does not produce the correct output signal. Yes, measurements are made on the conveyor belt, for objective control of product quality and compliance with tolerances. However, even in this case, additional samples from the batch are made with more thorough checks. Measurements are always interesting when the quality of the hardware implementation exceeds the characteristics of the converters and the emphasis is on the quality of the DACs and ADCs themselves (those nodes where it is impossible to interfere, the characteristics of which are laid down at the factory). For some serious work with sound, there is not yet a single measurement that would characterize the synergy (magic) in the sound. Otherwise, they would only use it. All serious audio equipment is based on the practical experience and hearing of the developer. Measurements are only used to confirm the absence of problems and defects in the device.
….Anyway the competitors say thank you... For us consumers there are no problems, we will go to other brands, the problem remains with them.
The A6 is an incredible deal. The A8 is still value for money and the A10 for the happy few who don't mind a few extra bucks.
Here is the data of the control measurement carried out by the developer before handing over the finished device to me.
