Looking for help with Tidal Hi-Res playback (firmware v6.4.68)

Is there anyone here running the v6.4.68 firmware on a Zidoo Z10 Pro / Z1000 Pro / UHD3000 / NEO S / NEO Alpha / NEO X player who also has a Tidal subscription?

I’d like to check whether Tidal Hi-Res playback (24-bit / 96–192 kHz) works correctly on this firmware. either via Tidal Connect or when controlling Tidal through the Zidoo Control app.
On our end, playback is always limited to CD quality (16-bit / 44.1 kHz), and based on earlier forum posts, this firmware version might be the cause.

We’re seeing the issue on a friend’s NEO S, but since it’s not my unit, I’m hesitant to try a firmware downgrade, it can be risky.
Could someone with the same setup please confirm whether Hi-Res playback works for you or if you’re seeing the same limitation?

If others are experiencing the same issue, the best outcome would be for Zidoo to fix it in a future firmware update and restore proper Hi-Res playback support.
However, if that doesn’t happen, my friend will likely sell the Zidoo and switch to an Eversolo player, since - based on my research - Tidal Hi-Res playback works correctly on those devices.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Is the weather not working for everyone on my Zidoo x10Pro?

Hasn't worked in a number of years !
Too bad one can't removed that placeholder and put something that actually works there !

Works here in Sydney maybe it’s your local weather service that Zidoo accesses.

Strangely, the Z9X (without the Pro/8k, I still have the older model, but I don't use it anymore) worked. I entered my city and everything showed up. I thought the data was downloaded from Google Weather or another service. Moreover, there's a field where you need to enter your city. ......

and for - The weather is fixed (or not) for the Z9X 8K/Z30 PRO/Z3000 PRO/UHD8000. 27. Fixed the issue where the weather search occasionally failed.

Completely different country!, What, 9500 miles away??

It doesn't recognize the city (which is in the list which is the 2nd largest city in NY State.

So that seems to indicate a problem with your local weather service data service. I don’t know how Zidoo handles it. Sometimes but rarely if I’ve been adding and deleting videos, I will lose Sydney weather but a quick reboot restores everything. But then we are much closer to China than New York:p
