New firmware v6.0.46_G (with Google Play) version for ZIDOO Z9X/Z10 Pro/Z1000 Pro release

Just pitching in to say I too would love a one button press to switch between VS10 and HDR Auto whilst playing a title, even if this pauses the video. For information @DaMacFunkin , I'm also playing around with looking at the differences between VS10 and HDR Auto, so far just using HDR10+ source titles. However I have a Vertex2 between my Z1000 Pro and Samsung TV, which as you will know doesn't support DV natively.

What ia the difference between Vs10 and Hdr Auto?because when i choise vs10 the media info show me 8bt hdr signal?

 

In VS10 mode with Dolby MEL title, the file is being ‘tunnelled’ to your TV for the TV to do the processing, this is how Dolby Vision was originally intended to work. With HDR10 in VS10 the player is converting to DV then tunnelling it for your TV to process again (this makes no sense to me).

In Auto the DV stream is processed by the player and sent as LLDV (Sony compatibility mode).

LG users should have the option to force Tunnelling in Auto mode I think.

 

The problem is sofware by me...on Hdr auto i tested 7,8 movies Fel or Mel with dolbi digital+ sound and no problem at all,when i change to atmos truehd after 5-10min everything crashed.This zidoo have many many bugs...

 

Think we need to create a separate Dolby Vision + Dolby Atmos bug report, unless it is already fixed in the upcoming firware?

Jep, same here "back to the future" ripped with makemkv and Dolby Vision and atmos, the movie doesn't start and the z9x freezes

And with installed vlc player, the movie plays well, but with hdr10 of course

 

ive had a dolby vision issues thread up for week or two now.....atmos and DV was one of the things i pointed out back then
ie casino royale non atmos plays thru almost perfect cept the odd DV flash up at chapters
Alita with atmos plays for 5 mins then stutters and audio out by 2 secs behind
Alita same mkv file with HDR10+ and Atmos plays perfect

 

blu ray menu and 3d doesn't work for me.
