These Bugs are still present since FW 2.1.30. I've told them to the Support last Year and again this year, but nothing changes until now. They still exist with Beta FW 2.1.40, have tested it yesterday (with Factory Reset) on 2 X9S devices. Same Bugs. With FW 2.1.28 these Bugs are not present. 1.) The media center (Zidoo Explorer) changes its background color despite the default wallpaper setting. Instead of blue, it turns black, and sometimes back again to blue. It happens irregularly when opening and closing the Media Center (Explorer). 2.) If you want to play music using Media Center (Zidoo Explorer) and the music player opens and playback runs, the order of the music in the folder is incorrect. It is always played randomly and not in the order in which it is listed in the folder. No matter what you set in the Zidoo Music Player. 3.) If the Front display is set to "Display the Clock" in the settings (Other> Front Display panel), then the time is no longer shown in the LED display since firmware 2.1.30 if playback runs. Only "00:00" appears. In FW 2.1.28 this still works without any problems. This mistake is easy to reproduce and also obvious. I'm still stay on FW 2.1.28. These Bugs are so obvious that they're annoying. They worsen the impression of a previously good device.
Any other issues with HDMI handshake, audio dropouts, BD Menus stuck, seamless branching pausing or stuck? Sorry, I don’t use front display. Even at low settings it’s too bright on X9S.
For those who already upgraded to FW 2.1.30 and 2.1.36 the bug is fixed in 2.1.40. I watched 4 movies so far and no audio drop or handshake issue!!! Stay tuned as I ll do further testing...

You just made me flash 2.1.40 I did not test much yet but (been running 2.1.28 for a long time) but I just saw a trailer starting while I was checking movie info....very nice addition zidoo team!!
Media Center now supports SMB v3 with FW 2.1.40 Beta !! Have tested it with Diskstation DS918+. Only SMBv2 and SMB v3 is active (have disabled v1). Mediacenter shows now with SMB all my Folders of my Diskstation (after Completly Restart of the Zidoo X9S). If the issue with the Mediacenter (sometimes black, sometimes Wallpaper Color) could be eleminated, then i would say: Top Work Zidoo !
Instead of concentrating on a stupid poster wall they should fix the internal srt microflashes and random strange letters at the end of a subtitle ! After 15 or so firmwares still not working, and that for a mediaplayer. Shamefull.
Anybody with x9s bricked have solved maybe installing this update? I'm bricked from many months (maybe 1 year) with 2.1.1 firmware with microstutters with some files and I'd love to solve it..tranks
