New Eversolo Control App - Now Available for Trial!

We try to get the album cover information of the current radio station. Not all streams have covers. I currently only found the address you sent that can be obtained.

I may be misleading, of course.
But now I use the program for listening to the radio Eter Radio

Only with them I saw that in addition to metadata (artist / track title), the cover is also loaded. Perhaps some third-party algorithm, but it is implemented cool.

As an example (on the screen) radio station Secret Agent from SomaFM.

By the way, is the updated UI planned for older devices (A6/A8/A10) or is it only for the Play series?

I did not expect that I would use the Internet radio as much as I’ve been using it that would most definitely be somewhat unique,

I certainly hope Eversolo retains some support for previous models along with other amenities, firmware, etc that would be both helpful and beneficial and useful for a fair amount of time as we go into the foreseeable future, with these very nice units. as a existing Eversolo user

Just uploaded new firmware. Library is now better at populating cover art in all modes. No instablities seen so far. Liking the new app as well.

I will just observe for a while,

Hopefully this may be a good move to make however is an Application situation that I don’t believe I fully understand as of now, in which exactly whats entailed. also, in its overall performance, admittedly so I like it ,

A few years ago I would’ve been all over it ,If it took days, to configure and install, etc. I may not have everything I want, but I have everything I need. I’m pretty well satisfied with its current configuration. I’ve had absolutely zero problems with anything,

I would say that’s kind of what transpires when you start to get a bit older, want noProblems , I’m Permanently closed for business

Any chance to get shortcut available to Eversolo Control App for starting Squeeze Connect?
It would make usage much more convenient.
Currently you need to cast Eversolo's touch screen and start Squeeze Connect from there.

My library is missing many albums. From what I can tell, it’s due to being more than 1 folder down in the structure (i.e. Artist>Album). The albums and songs show digging into library, but the albums do not show when sorted by Artist or Albums.

This reminds me, I’d love the ability to define this structure when ripping CD’s. I’ve always liked it grouped by artists. The A6 puts each albums into its own folder regardless of Artist.

The big issue with ripping is it’s not tagging the artist. I’ve had to go back with a tagged app to add artist info to all the CDs ripped directly. It also doesn’t tag the artwork, just uses the folder method. With the CD drive an optional add on for the play, ripping has a lot of room for improvements.

 

Firmware 1.4.70 has arrived.
Now covers for a number of radio stations are displayed.

Got it OTA. Just installing it.

EDIT: Done! Now will play arround with it and look for the features.

 

So, after the first songs with qobuz connect from PC I thought the glitches between two tracks are gone. But I only thought!
The glitches as they were are gone. Song number one ends smooth without glitch. Then song number two starts gapeless as it should. Also smooth, but the first tone/note at the beginning ist missing.
This issue is not solved 100%.
