BUG

When displaying Music Library/Library the volumes are displayed that I’ve added to my player. I have one internal SSD and one folder on my Synology NAS. Both are scanned and indexed, I can play music from both, but I can’t display the folders and tracks from my Synology NAS, it remains empty and displays a zero for number of tracks. Happens on both iPad and iPhone versions of the app, 1.2.12.1.

 

INCONSISTANCY

All my tracks have track numbers, if the album has multiple CDs the album number is also included, otherwise that field is left empty. When displaying an album in the Eversolo iOS app (iPad or iPhone) the track numbers are only displayed when the album number field is not empty AND the tracks of the different albums are stored in one folder (so without a subfolder for CD1, CD2…) So all of my single albums don’t display track numbers.

So in the pictures included the Kraftwerk double album is split up in 2 folders while the Kissing The Pink double album has all the tracks in 1 folder. When viewing the album in the app the tracks are displayed including the track numbers, and nicely divided in CD1 and CD2. The Kraftwerk album however is not showing any track numbers and is treated as two separate albums.

 

Using the Plex app, the album folder is always sorted by the title (first option in the menù). It could be nice to have always the last sort used. For example the "date added" so we always can have the view of the new albums added in the library.

 

Yes, remembering the last sorting method after the app was closed or browsing another menu would be nice!

Well, first of all we can say with a certain confidence that you love Kraftwerk...
Then... could it be because that is a 2-disc album, and the software may be buggy and show you the two discs? What are the tracks shown if you select either of them?

 

That was only added in latest update, I posted these before then.

 

Guys, I have one request for the functionality of the Internet radio, which is currently in beta testing:

A number of radio stations (for example, SomaFM stations) also show the cover of the release along with the stream broadcast.

How problematic is it to implement this?

There is an option to merge albums with the same name. That will sort the doubled up covers but the number thing may be your tags. I know there aren't any numbers shown on the playlist screen but they are shown along with disc numbers (when tagged) on the album page shown when you click on an album cover.[/QUOTE]

It is so obvious I like Kraftwerk? ;-)
Yes, it is a 2-disk album, but some only show up as 1 in the album view, others show up as multiple depending on how the are organised.

My structure is: artist_name/artist_name - album_name/(CD1, CD2… if more than 1 disk)

 

Thanks, will give it a try. (Updating library now, not full rescan. If that doesn’t work I will try a full rescan of the SSD but it takes a few hours.)

 

why do I see 4 identical folders on my NAS on the network? how do I delete duplicates?

Trying new app. no bugs so far. Looks good. Nicely designed. Have put in for new firmware, but it has not yet been pushed to me yet.
