Fair enough. PlexToZidoo isn't perfect. I am happy with the base functionality and sorting options of the built in app, just missing a few things for me in comparison to PTZ.

If the app is in HDR, wouldn't all non HDR content then need a handshake?

The most annoying thing... And this is the most important and frustrating thing:

The ext. subtitles are not available automatically when playback is started.

The extended subtitles should be read automatically, so you don't have to "insert" them every time. On every episode and every movie...

I have installed the Plex client on the Z9X 8K via APK and the frame rate does not switch automatically :( What about the version from the Google Play Store (G firmware)? Does the Play Store version include a frame rate switch function?
I don't want to use the built in Plex version as it doesn't have all the features and looks terrible.

Use Plex for Zidoo, almost all the features are there and it works great. There is a Plex for Zidoo section in these forums.

That's weird. It worked fine when I tried it before, but I mostly use the built-in poster wall, so it's been a while since I've messed with Plex. Maybe it's related to having VS10 enabled?
