Native KODI support on the new common kernel?

Oh yes an important move that may be missed easily: How can OpenWRT OS be run next to Android OS sharing HW resources? In fact it does not as this box first time uses a common Linux kernel with both OpenWRT and Android 6 on top of that. KODI can be run natively on top of that too. No need for OpenEelec or LibreElec anymore and no Dual Boot with all its problems, just full integration taking the best of both worlds . I don't think this is done with ZDMC already, but for sure this is the way to go next.

Hardware specific drivers must be moved to the common Linux kernel obviously and should be provided by the SDK of Realtek not by the KODI / OpenWRT communities and should not be part of any open source code and hence GPL agreements. The need for a special ZDMC then vanishes implicitly as well. No need for Wrappers or External Players anymore as the commonly used underlying Linux Kernel deals with HW specifics instead as it should be done.

When may we expect such an implementation?
