    Hello,

I have my Zidoo Z9 X for a long time. But with changing firmware over the time it has become very unstable.

It scrapes not so good any more. But most of all it refuses to play many files, especially ISO and BD structure, but others too. I still have my old Z9S, these files play without problem.

I tried to playback mostly in recommended settings, tried also auto mode, tried VS 10, that gives more problems then benefits. DV, tried direct mode, and other, sometimes image is too dark to my liking, playing on a XIaomi C 2 projector (often prefer 709).

Most problems started after changing firmware (6.4.65 now), so go back is I heard not a good thing. So I better reset factory (scrap again omg), then put another firmware, but which, or do you have other suggestions?

I would probably try a Factory Reset from Settings/Other.

v6.4.65 should be fine - I used that on my Z9X and it was bomb proof - no problems with any files.

Sorry for my late reply. V6.4.65 is the one I am having now. Not better to put another version on it then?

As I say, I used v6.4.65 and it was rock solid.

Weird, this is the one that gave me a lot of problems, files that the S plays perfectly, not with this...

    Hello,

I reset the player. Some files that not worked, are fine now.

Although Markswift says to put back the v6.4.65 version, I am a bit afraid to find the same issues again.

Is there another version, I could try, that is very stable. Would it matter to leave the original on it?
