Hello. I want to say something about my experience with Zidoo. I tried some unbranded android boxes, and they are generally bad, due to a bad ROM, full of glitches, unstable etc....and of course, no updates at all. When i bought my first Zidoo X1, things changed a LOT. I was able to use it 24h/24h on standby, every day with uTorrent + Kodi + movies + Internet. No problems at all, no crashes....(almost)perfect. Unfortunately the chipset Allwinner H3 is not so...."winner". It's poorly supported and is weaker compared to the Amlogic S905, for some tasks. So i changed it with a new X5....now i'm totally satisfied. A friend bought also an X6 on January, and he is happy with it. If you are thinking to buy some cheap unbranded generic android box...don't do it, and spend some bucks more to buy a Zidoo, trust me, you will not regret. Thanks Zidoo team, keep up the good work!
Same opinion: - Fast enough - IR controlled (so i can control via Domotic equipment) - Sleep/poweroff function - Teamview support - ZIUI good (lack of some translations / some are mispelled) - A brand behind it (I was tempted by an "MQ Pro" but.. who is behind? ) - Firmware release (i cannot OTA, dunno why.. fine with manual update.. I'm NOT root) What can i ask more?
Honestly i don't like ZIUI launcher because is not customizable so much, i use Novalauncher, but this is not a problem.
yes, that's true. I use Nova on my smartphone but on that unattended box i need just few things so ZIUI is good for me (yes, is a personal idea.. for generic purpose ZIUI is not so good, i agree)
thanks. Currently I am translating some system apps because of they lacks Italian. If I attach them here, can you sign it for me in order to have them installed? I don't want to root just to remove older one to set mine..
Just a try, thanks This is the link to my Zidoo Folder https://mega.nz/#F!YBZCwBSb!AXqRIh7phHZ4yS61SDhnqg
This is my first ever TV Box. I had no knowledge about it and was confused which one to buy. After hours of research I settled with Zidoo X5 and I dont regret it.
