.mkv with DV displays purple and green colors

    Is it the only file you have that plays that way? If so probably the file. You could upload a one minute segment on somewhere like Mega and share the link to see if others see the same

    Does your TV support DV? Post a MediaInfo file report of the file.

    yep ,usually the purple green shows when your playing DV on a device that doesnt support it

    ie if i test DV mkvs on my PC ill usually get it ,because my display is hdr only

    you may find your seeing it because the video only has dv and no hdr to fall back to

    Just to note, that's only profile 5 DV because it uses a different colour space.

    I have a LG OLED77CS6, Samsung HW-Q995D and the Zidoo Z9X 8K. Shouldn't be any DV issues. Other DV clips play fine btw and the TV flags that it's getting a DV signal on all DV clips.

    According to that report, it's not DV - I'd bin it off and find a different source.

    It looks like someone did something stupid to a P5 DV file.
