Hey, I'm dreaming about this feature: the front panel LED display sharing some information about the media being played on the device. I mainly use my Zidoo X8 for music playback, either from my local archive on an external HDD or using the Radio plugin of Kodi/ZDMC. I use the device "headless", so no display is attached, playback is done by ZDMC and I control it via Kodi remote apps. Is there any chance there's a Zidoo addon for ZDMC that would post the info available: Artist and Track being played? Of course, by scrolling the text on the small display, but it would be still so cool. Is there an open API to control the LED display? Is there even a chance such an addon can technically exist?
