Jellyfin App by Zidoo

Sooner or later it will happen. I have 2 legacy Z9X players. If you like the JF server approach you end up with 2 options:
Figure out a way to get other JF client to work with your Zidoo player or get another unexpensive hardware box or stick to work with JF server. Your smart TV may have a JF client ready to download.

 

One of the best JF clients is multiplatform Moonfin. Amazon Fire Stick with Vimu player is not expensive and it works also well.

 

That would be sad. I really like the Zidoo hardware, but all the media I play through it is via Jellyfin Server, so without this working I may as well not have it.

 

Try official Jellyfin client with external player option. I don't have latest Zidoo 8K model to test it. It should work except for external subtitles.

 

Same here, I only use the devices for JF, if that does not work anymore, I have no use for them.
