Hi I received my unit a few days ago and I'm having a couple of issues. First let me preface with I own the Z9S, Z9X and the Z9X Pro and I'm quite familiar with them and love them. I'm using this unit with the Epson LS12000 going through the HDFury Vrroom. The Z9X Pro works fantastic. Picture sync coming out from playing a movie back to the movie screen takes maybe 1/2 second a most. I play my movies from a NAS on a gigabit network. Never an issue. So I bought the 8K version because I thought I would be nice to have HDR10 and 10+ pass through with VS10 for DV where as the Z9X pro I had to use VS10 for all HDR formats. Syncing with projector coming out of movie now takes 5-6 seconds ( I tried on TV and it was better 2-3 seconds). This is with match framerate and resolution set to off. Now being a new chipset I can understand there maybe be different quirks or issues. So I can live with that. But now when playing a 4K rip from the NAS it will freeze for about 10 seconds then continue then freeze then continue. I though perhaps something wrong with my network so I plugged the Z9X pro back in. Works perfectly. So before I send the unit back for a refund was wondering if anybody had maybe the same setup or could maybe give me any ideas on what to test or try. I've talked to Futeko support but they don't think it's a Zidoo issue ( though the other units I have work perfectly on 4K rips from NAS.) and have offered for me to ship back and refund. Futeko had me set resolution to a fixed one and make sure Play settings - Auto frame rate was off for both local and Third party apps which is was and it make no difference. I even factory reset to try again but same result. Thanks for any and all suggestions.
Install the latest beta then turn device off. Power off at switch. Leave for a minute and turn on. Then try again.
Thanks that didn't fix anything. I think there is something wrong with the network connector. When playing I press info and I see 80+MB/s then when it freezes drops to 40, then 10 then less than back up to 80 when it starts playing again. Using the Z9X Pro playing the same clip it's constant between 75-105MB/s no issues. I think I will return the unit.
Hi, I've set the z9x 8k power on to standby mode and now I can't power on using either V11 or V12 remote control. Please help.
