Is there an IR Receiver on the Z9X front panel?

    Hi All,

    Is anyone able to confirm if the Z9X does have an IR receiver on the front please?

    Looking to make the move to a Zidoo box, and for my setup having IR control rather than bluetooth remote control will make things easier - as I use a single (learning) remote setup.

    The user manuals for both the Z9X and Z10Pro mention there is an IR sensor on each front panel (left side).

    Web page specs for the Z9X, under "Other Interfaces", does not mention this - but the Z10Pro page does.

    I use a Harmony 700 with the z9x and the Harmony works well. Hope this helps.

    thanks guys. that's the image I saw in the user manual, whereas it's not mentioned on the website page, so wanted to be sure it wasn't an error in the manual.

    I've just ordered myself a Z9X and should see it in a few days :D
