Processing Methods HDR10 film will output HDR10 on display device supporting HDR10. Dolby Vision film will output Dolby Vision on display device supporting Dolby Vision and activate TV Dolby Vision mode(note:UHD original disc with Dolby Vision will output HDR10). When display device supports Dolby Vision and the LLDV mode is turned on, SDR or HDR film will convert and output Dolby Vision through the VS10 engine, and the TV Dolby Vision mode will be activated. This function is recommended to be enabled when playing SDR film so that pictures will be more penetrating and get greater brightness contrast and and starker colors. While it is better to set "Auto" mode for HDR film (note: The LLDV option will only appear when Zidoo media players detect that the display device supports Dolby Vision). Zidoo will output HDR10 or HDR10+ intelligently according to display devices when playing HDR10 or HDR10+ films ; Dolby Vision film will convert and output HDR10 or HDR10+ according to display device through the VS10 engine. On HDR10 devices, when playing ordinary SDR film, it will convert to high dynamic HDR10 output more accurately through the VS10 engine; When playing HDR10 or HDR10+ film, it will output HDR10 or HDR10+ according to display device. When the display device supports SDR and BT2020 wide color range but no SDR, films will convert HDR to SDR while retaining the BT2020 color range output. When display device supports SDR but no Dolby Vision and HDR, VS10 engine will convert to SDR for all films. In the early, black levels were incorrect and the picture was gray for HDR conversion to SDR. But the picture brightness are greatly improved with new VS10 commercial engine, details of the dark parts are well preserved and showing a similar effect of HDR.
