Misread what Zidoo Support Kim said, so first added "the" to "The" and then removed both and did a new scan.

Back up your poster wall and then share the backup with me. I'll analyze your data to see if there's any chance of finding a problem.

In HT go to sources/movies/ find that file and you'll see how is it matched. Then you can rematch right there.

He can't find it in HT sources but only in Media Center.

Change the file name slightly and see if it appears in HT. But before you do that check in TMDB that the name of your file is the same as that in TMDB. Possibly you might have to add the date eg (1964) after the name.

As mentioned, I can only find this movie in the Zidoo file system and not in HT5; it's nowhere to be found. I've made all the name changes, data adjustments, etc. I even changed the folder name to match the movie's TMDB name. To no avail. ZXS is working on it now; he's a developer.

I have another version of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) on another NAS, an MKV version, and an ISO of a UHD Blu-ray. After backing up and rebuilding the database, I updated the NFO files, fan art, and posters in the folders next to the movies. These files aren't in the folder for "The Temple of Doom" on the other NAS, which makes sense because this movie isn't recognized. So, it's not recognized on two different NAS.

If there is an nfo delete it and rematch.

There's no NFO in this folder at all, only the two movies. In the other NAS's folder, I deleted the NFO that was there and rescanned it, but the movie didn't show up in HT5.

How in the world do I manually edit a movie?

It's an ESPN documentary to be precise , unknown in any database.

I would like to manually edit name and poster, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it.

Also the folder the documentary is in also contains a Nfo file, I find it odd that HT doesn't detect that. Any help would be much appreciated.

Easiest way is an NFO file as long as it's formatted and named correctly (videofileName.nfo). Attached is a blank example and a real example from one of my own docos which is a bit more complicated because it's scraped from TMDB.

For posters and fanart use local files and make sure Use local images first is ticked in Preferences. The must be named like videoFileName-poster.jpg and videofileName-fanart.jpg as below:

More details in the pdf attached to the Recommended Settings sticky.

Another way is to dummy match the doco and then edit in the web interface, but you still have to use local artwork as above.

    Thanks

The nfo file name is identical, isn't it? Or is it cap sensitive?

Yes, case sensitive - hansie is a different text string to HANSIE etc.

Additionally, after watching the last episode of season 1, the first episode of season 2 should be displayed in the Watching section; however, the show completely disappears. Zidoo can't seem to grasp the concept of a TV show having more than 1 season. It has bothered me for the last 5 or 6 years, and it is pretty pathetic that it has not been fixed. It's simple math, and such a simple fix.

I have been reporting this type of issue for some time now, but nothing has changed. It seemed to work very well before on the Z9X 4k, but I am not sure now, and I can't check, i sold it (I am even starting to regret it a little).

I have a new problem with HT5. Because of the problems with Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), I'm researching other films in HT5 for any issues, if possible. I have the film Jurassic Park (1993) in NAS1. It once had its own location in an earlier HT version, and on January 5th, I made an nfo and poster backup of it, which was in the folder on the NAS. However, it doesn't appear in HT5. It does appear as version A in The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), while it was listed as version B. I first deleted all the nfo and poster files and created a new scan. No change. Then I deleted all the data in HT5 and ran a new database scan. No change, version A again. Then I moved the entire film folder to NAS2 and created a new scan for both NAS1 and NAS2. The film has disappeared from NAS1 and been added to NAS2. But it is - again - included as version A in The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), while this film itself is version B.
"Something is rotten in the state of Denmark."

I have just turned everything off, I will delete the nfo file and posters from The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) and report what has happend.

The problem might be due to a filename mismatch. Try adding [tmdb-329] to the Jurassic Park filename and [tmdb-330] to the Jurassic Park2 filename.
