HT5 v5.0.68 Beta Version (UPDATED)

I don't use TV series but I just loaded one and played three episodes in three different seasons past the resume point (1 min) and all reported correctly in HT.



I then tried a second, later, episode from the same season and that showed the later episode from that season correctly as expected:



This may be a legacy issue from the old database perhaps?

I can't comment on Trakt because I don't use it.

 

I had to actually watch all the shows that had the wrong numbers to get it to show the correct episode number. But shows that were already in my watching section before the update have all the wrong episode numbers. I just tried Trakt again, and now, after I have watched something, it finally updated Trakt, but I had to watch something to trigger the upload to Trakt, so the manual sync button does nothing.

 

I have the same problem too, it happens exactly the same way as described.
Plus I sometimes get random video artifacts when I do the same things.
Problems that I have never had with the Z9X and continue not to have.

Ok, that kind of makes sense given the restructuring of the database for the new version.

 

I would also prefer an on/off toggle enabling me to swith off this feature.

NAS - Wifi fw 1.2.42 - HT 5.0.68 issues found:
1) Export NFO with overwriting... stops in 28% twice. Workaround: make some changes in matching files then it runs and overwrites flawlessly.
2) Can't delete matching files, neither "Clean up matching information only" nor "Delete whole database matching information". The only way is to delete the files manually.

The main concern is to select the correct Zidoo model to apply the right update. Make sure to don’t use the wrong file.

I have been requesting for a long time to be able to separate unwatched films and unwatched series.
Today, a problem has reinforced my request.
I have just noticed that when I use the filter on the HT main screen to search for unwatched films, it only shows me eight films, whereas when I go to the film list and count them (and check that they are indeed unwatched), I have 14. I haven't checked the TV series.
Does this happen to you?

 

I'm probably the wrong person to ask about this because I reset my database so often that I don't use watched/unwatched.

At the moment, all my files are unwatched (922) and if I filter by Unwatched, I get 922. If I then mark one as Watched, I get 921. Seems to be working here.

 

It could boil down to the definition of "unwatched". Maybe "watched" by playing to near the end isn't the same "watched" when marked as "watched". I'm not able to check right now, but I think there's a distinction between "watching" and "watched".

 

Hello, have you tried longpressing to mark the 6 to unwatched manually?

 

Yes, they are marked as unwatched, and if I press and hold, it offers me the option to mark them as watched
The six missing films are films I've never watched...
Honestly, it would be great to be able to manage unwatched films like Kodi...

@ Zidoo Support-Kim: Tonight I will mark them as watched and then I will change them to unwatched, hoping that this will do something....
Honestly, a button to show or hide ‘watched’ items, regardless of the category you're in (like in Kodi), would be great.

 

Yes, there's "Unwatched" (Default <1m from the start), "Watching" (Default >1m from the start and >3m from the end) and "Watched" (Default <3m from the end). Of course those defaults can be changed.

"Watching" do not appear in "Unwatched" but do appear on the Home Screen. Both appear in "Watched History".

It's pretty logical.
