Now we don't have to wait for the new version. It will continue from 09.10.25.

Have a great holiday and best wishes for the Mid-Autumn Festival to the Zidoo team!

This is why I use NFOs and local art - I'd hate to be in a situation where I couldn't reset the database when I want.

Ok, you lose watched information and cast/crew links to other movies, but that's an extremely small price to pay for the convenience of it.

Fully agree with and specially when you've got several boxes in the same network!!

Very true - it makes handling several boxes with the same library a breeze.

You're a whole month off. Surely you meant 2025-10-09.

You could try TMM with local NFO. Redoing a database will be a breeze

I've never done it. Would you be so kind as to tell me the procedure?

Hi all, I am looking for older versions of HT5 for the Z9x 8k. Just got mine yesterday. I see the new beta. But is there an older, maybe more safer version? Can’t find it here, sorry. My Zidoo was delivered with 4.3.
    Many thanks and greets.

Stop asking the same question in several places. It's been answered elsewhere.

I use local images as well, but every time a hard drive goes to sleep and I go to the movies or TV Series page before the hard drives are fully awake, it has to repopulate. This is infuriating since I have thousands of movies, and it takes a long time to repopulate.

Have you tried the new offline sources switch?

Minor request. Can you add Aspect Ratio in the movie info page? I think this would be useful

Btw, is there a way to add an IMAX tag to the info page?

It's actually a bigger ask than you think - there's no way to ascertain AR of a movie without a video processor unless the file is cropped to that AR in which case it's easily calculated. But for a scope presentation in a 16:9 frame there's no way to figure it out.

You could take the values from TMDB but then they can be inaccurate too depending on the file source - BluRay and certainly TX presentations often differ from the cinema packages.

So yeah, I agree it'd be nice, but kind of tricky.

I just add "(IMAX)" to the movie title using the web UI:

If you wanted to be clever and you use NFOs you could use the tagline for a more full description. Unfortunately the web UI doesn't allow tagline editing.

@Markswift2003 - Hi Mark, I'm not going to ask "that" question :D

How easy would it to add something like a Top 100 movies (by rating decending) as a wiget/category?

I'm hoping that gets fixed very quickly once the devs are back.
