With dynamic background off - it is fine. Problem is when its on it simply crops a full screen image to the top right box.

Because this is a big departure internally to v4.x.x a lot of settings are set back to default on installation and different users have different ways of using settings - you, like me, turn off Ratings (I turn off all the corner stuff) but others will leave them on - so obviously you see a difference whilst those who leave settings alone do not.

Perhaps I should turn them off so that they are displayed? Interesting, I'll test that right away

Addendum: No, unfortunately the switch has no effect.

Before going to the doctor, I redid my Video Library, starting from 0...with my HDD.... as the source... the notes appeared...
So I redid it, setting each folder (action, comedy...) as the source...after the scan...not a single note...the only difference is that I had deactivated the fanart on the poster wall...it's getting annoying...well, it's not important to me...but it's a shame...
    @Markswift2003 :
Is it possible to envisage that unwatched series and films will one day be separated?

Not sure what you mean by notes.

As to unwatched - I don't know - but I made a post about the practicalities of it elsewhere recently.

It is near the one which activates it.
Something like store dynamic background with the video device ---or something ( I am not at home)

This method of changing the rating so that it is displayed does not fix the problem.
When a new film is added to the collection, the whole procedure has to be repeated so that the IMDB rating is displayed for this new film.
This is very inconvenient. I hope it will be fixed soon.

Can confirm. While I was able to get the imdb ratings to display for my library by wiping and re-adding my source, newly added movies will not display the rating unless you rematch or refresh metadata. I just tested with 5.0.46

Edit: And now its working again during a test add of a new movie. No idea whats going on lol

So I tried a little experiment:

    1. Full Reset of HT
    2. Left Ratings on "Source Own Score" (I never really understood what that means...)
    3. Made sure preferences set to show Rating on Poster
    4. Entered and scanned a source of 100 movies, no NFOs

Result was all posters have TMDB rating.

    Then.

    1. Full Reset of HT
    2. Changed Ratings to "IMDB"
    3. Made sure preferences set to show Rating on Poster
    4. Entered the same source and scanned the same 100 movies, no NFOs

Result was only collections have IMDB rating as was the case before.

However, if you refresh metadata on the single movies, then IMDB rating appears.

So yeah - IMDB rating bug isn't fixed.

Two problems with the latest version of HT5 v5.0.46.
First, short picture interruptions with Dolby vision - about half to 1 second,
as well as falsely high values of real time bitrate (here 175, as the value of constant in this case is only 26 Mb/sec, and the second problem I noticed with previous versions of HT тоо.

@Markswift2003 I am trying this new HT update and I like his reactivity. But there are two comfortable features that have been eliminated (or maybe I don't find them) and that were present in previous versions and were very useful:

    1) The posters inside the collections can no longer be moved manually. Example: I created the collection with all Marvel films and before I could move them manually in chronological order of view. Now it's no longer possible.

    2) It is no longer possible to insert a TV series within a collection of films. Example: before I had created a collection with Hitchcock films and I had also entered the TV series "Hitchcock hour" inside. Now it's no longer possible.

If these features have been removed, I wonder why. If they are still there, can you help me find them? Thank you.

    1. Posters in collections can still be moved and I don't think the method has changed - click on the icon top right then select the poster you want to move and move it - I just tried it and it works fine.

    2. You've never been able to add a TV series to a movie collection - the only options will be other TV series and you have to disband the current TV series before you can add seasons individually to other TV series collections. I double checked with an old version of HT to confirm. Are you sure you didn't add them to a custom category? You can add both TV series (including multi season) and movies and movie collections to a custom category.

    1) The icon at the top right inside the collections was in previous versions. Now that icon is gone.

    2) I scanned both the films and the TV series within the same "volume". I created a category and inserted all the films and TV series of that same "volume". Now when I Presto with the OK button on the poster of a film and select "Add to the collection" The name of the collection that interests me appears on the list of collections and I can select it. If, on the other hand, I press on the poster of the TV series and select "Add to the collection" on the list the name of the collection I want to select does not appear.

In the previous versions of HT these options worked perfectly.

    1. This is v5.0.46:

    2. "Add to Collection" for a TV Series will only allow you to move the season to another TV Series - Movie Collections are not listed. As I said, I tested with an older version of HT as well to be sure the behaviour is the same as v5.0.46. The version I tested was v4.3.52 which is the earliest working version.

As I say, it's possible with Custom Categories, but not Collections.

  15. I also have those problems

    2) Before I updated to HT5 I had in the same "Hitchcock" collection the films and also the TV series 'The Hitchcock hour', so before it was possible to put them together otherwise I could not have done it.

Do you get the same result if you play the file from the Media Center?

Same picture interruptions with Dolby vision - about half to 1 second,
as well as falsely high values of real time bitrate.

Unfortunately, I cannot see which player you have in your signature. Are you perhaps using HDMI audio?

Is HT involved in the playing of our movies? Or just the graphical interface?
