I’ve found on my UHD3000 if you click through each episode number as shown on HT the times correct themselves, however I don’t care how long each ep happens to be as I already know from the file length on my server.

My firmware version and HT version are.
    Zidoo Firmware Version v6.4.68_202407311333
    Zidoo HT version b v5.0.65

I have the opposite experience with matching, I don’t use TVDB at all only TMDB

I switched from TVDB to TMDB a long time ago for both TV shows and movies, but I still have some older TV shows in my database that were scraped using TVDB.

Interestingly, only these older TVDB-scraped shows display the title correctly in the widget. In contrast, movies scraped via TMDB work perfectly and show their titles as expected. This issue only happens with TV Shows.

There is also another bug similar to the missing titles in the now playing tab:
When I add only a single season of a TV show, it sometimes fails to appear in the TV show section as [Title] -> [Season X]. Instead, it just shows [Season X]. This results in several entries that only display '[Season X]' alongside the show's poster, without the actual series title.

I've seen it's possible to get a TMDB sensor in home assistant using the Zidoo custom integration, but I dont have that sensor showing. I am running an older version of HT5 so I thought it may related to that. I wanted to see if anyone knew if updating to a newer version the Home Theater app would add that functionality.

could you tell me why with my zidoo z9x pro all set in french, HT5 as well in french by default, when I launch iso BLUrays, the menu is shown in english. The same iso files work on windows in french when I set the right default language in Powerdvd. So it's not an issue from iso file. The zidoo seems not to apply the default language when playing iso files...

Could you help me with this? any way to force it?

How did you rip the original disc?
Did you select French as the default for the ripping software, assuming it allows this, for the ISO?

The alternative is to simply make a MKV format file of just the movie eliminating all languages you don’t need using MakeMKV

Sorry but Did you even read my post? I am talking about iso blu-ray menus , not mkv files , not rips. It is original ISO, and the menu language depends on the system language of the Blu-ray player .

Hello, I'm using Zidoo version 6.4.48 with v5.0.68 HT. I've created my movie and TV series archive from scratch, each with its own poster and background image. I was using it without any problems in previous versions. My settings are correct, and although my "use local image" option is active, it downloads many movie and collection posters randomly. Also, the process of editing movie and collection names that I always do through the database unfortunately doesn't work here. I correct the movie names to English, but it automatically displays them back in my native language. I was able to do these things without any problems in previous versions. However, I think these problems need to be fixed urgently.

If you're using local art (and and local art is switched on) and HT still uses an online image it means that the local file is missing, incorrectly named or in an unrecognisable format.

Editing the database directly is not supported.

If you want posters in English then set HT/Settings/Language to English.

If you want full control of the poster information then use local NFO files.

Hi Mark, thanks for the reply, my poster titles are correct because they displayed without problems in previous versions. For example: A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984).mkv -- A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)-poster.jpg -- A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)-fanart.jpg It displays most of them correctly, but there are many that it doesn't display. This problem exists in almost all my collections. Also in TV shows.

All I can tell you is that if HT can find a valid local image in the same folder that's correctly named and "Use local images first" is ticked, it'll use local images.

I just loaded a test library with 500 movies with watermarked black & white local images on a Z9X with FW v6.4.68 and HT v5.0.68 so it would be immediately obvious if any posters were scraped online.

    This is the result:

    upload_2026-6-15_17-1-34.png

Not a single colour image for any movie (the number at the top is 408 because some were in collections).

The only other thing I can think of is a corrupt database, but you said you scraped from scratch, which is what I did above - I reset HT then scraped the test library.
