HT5 v5.0.68 Beta Version for Realtek 1619BPD (UPDATED)

    I'm using the latest beta on my Z2000 Pro and Trakt seems to be broken in at least a few ways. I watched a movie the entire way through tonight and it didn't trigger anything to Trakt. It correctly marked as watched in HT, but for some reason the play button doesn't reset. Instead it's the "in progress" button. Not sure if that is related at all, but to get the play button to reset you have to start watching the movie again and then stop it. Back to Trakt - if I try a manual sync to Trakt it takes about 0.9 seconds and still does not trigger anything on the Trakt side. To get a movie to actually mark as watched to Trakt I have to go back to the movie in HT, mark it back as unwatched, and then mark it as watched. So it seems like watching the actual movie will not trigger correctly, nor do the manual sync buttons work in Trakt. I hope this can be fixed as it's how I keep my devices all synced together.

    Unfortunately, I had to revert to version v4.3.52. In my case, these updates became very unstable. These last two versions caused HT5 v5 to restart and crash very frequently every time I selected a movie; I don't know if this is because all my files are in BDMV and ISO formats. Even the box started behaving strangely, and sometimes it would restart on its own and no longer recognize my connected hard drive, or when it did recognize it, the hard drive symbol wasn't visible. This doesn't happen in version v4.3.52.

    Is anybody having issues with ClearLogos not loading on new TV Shows added to the library since installing v5.0.59? I'm about to upgrade to v5.0.68, but I doubt that will fix the issue. Even if I do a metadata refresh for each title, the clearlogo never loads. This is true on both of my Z9X Pros.

    Also, do you think we'll ever get clearlogo support for collections?

    Hi,

    Something I don't understand. Zidoo beta is 5.0.68
    however, the zidoo version on officiel download is 1.095....
    each seems to be for zido Z9X PRo
    can you explain why this difference?

    HT (Home Theatre - the posterwall app) beta is at v5.0.68. Firmware is at v1.0.95.

    Hi, the update 5.0.68 doesn’t show up in the installer. However, when I try to select it via the file manager, I get an error: “Package is unrecognized”.

    All I can tell you is that if you download the correct apk for the box you're using and install it through Media Center and nothing is corrupt it works.

    Got it sorted — the problem was with ARC. I rebooted, and it worked, but now the update fails. It shows “not installed” at the end. Should I remove the old versions?

    Don't know - I've never had a problem upgrading HT. Can't see what ARC has to do with an apk installation though. Are you sure you have the right version for your box?

    The Zidoo set‑top box is running version 4.3.52.

    No I mean are you trying to install the correct version for your box - what box is it?

    Ok, that's right for the one in this thread - I thought you would be using the right one, but I had to ask :)

    So I have no idea what's going on here - if it was me I'd do a factory reset, but then I have backups, NFO files etc etc and I can do it with my eyes closed... I appreciate it's a pain in the neck for most people.

    Finally got the update to work — it was a struggle, but reinstalling the latest version did the trick. However, now I’ve got new issues:

    • All my posters are gone.

    • New ones either won’t download or take forever.

    • And to top it off, my backup got wiped.
      Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Though they’re still sitting in the \.HomeTheater\Posters folder.
