As said earlier, TMDB doesn't need to change anything but Zidoo to use same parse system in auto and manual matching. Actually TMDB accepts the input with accent and without accent with exactly the same result.

That's not necessarily the case. The web interface and the API calls that TMDB provide behave differently. Without seeing the exact API calls that the Zidoo makes and the responses that TMDB sends (aka packet capture and decode), we can't be sure.

Yes, you maybe right but if web interface is doing so well, why not the API? It's a simple adaptation for language comprehension system. No taking accents into account is my old demand, specially for those users writing in both languages often.

Can anyone please point me to the right direction on how to get dialogue of resuming a movie or show from where you left off or start from the beginning.
    Thanks in advance!

It's not a function of HT, it's a function of the player.

Check the Bookmarks start and end time in Settings/Playback/Bookmarks - start time defaults to 1min and end time defaults to 3mins

    @Visconti12 @Markswift2003

regarding the movie Float and whether it was released in 2024 or 2025, according to TMDB in 2024 and IMDB in 2023. What I do when the scraper with TMDB cannot find a movie, I look at the website of TMDB to find the movie myself and name the movie and the folder where this movie is located with the data that TMDB gives in the search bar. For example, the mentioned Float is called as in the folder: 895959-float.
And the previously searched Aún estoy aquí is called in this case: 1000837-ainda-estou-aqui.
Thanks to this indication, the movie can be found more easily.
However if a movie is not listed in TMDB or in one of the other scrapers it does not work.

It seems a translation/naming issue in Zidoo API. Then match manually in TMDB removing the year if you got it to make it easier. TMDB is almost the only working scraper.

Found an issue with TV ep durations. If multiple episodes are added at one time HT5 shows the same duration for all eps based on the first ep. For example I d/l the new series of The Bear. All 10 episodes show a duration of 31 minutes. This is the duration of the first episode - not all 10!

Hi. Is there certain settings I need to change. Just tried to get the poster covers for the films but with no luck. Most films have come under one title by the look of things?

Not having much luck at all. Must of my films are mkv if that makes a difference?.

    Thanks for any replies

So I have a bit more feedback after continuing to struggle with HT5 (even though this versions is far better).

While there could be reasons for this application crashing, I don't necessarily believe that it's due to improper naming of files. It seems to be either a memory issue, or an error handling issue. I have had the application crash while adding large sources, only for it to later work its way through them and find 100% of the files. Further, I've added (for troubeleshooting purposes) individual TV show folders, and seen the application crash. Then, after it reloads, scan the folder and add 100% of the content.

So, one thought could be that if there's an issue grabbing data from TMDB, the application crashes. Or, it's possibly running out of memory somewhere.

OTOH, in ragards to the larger folders, it'll seemingly get stuck at the same spot. And without any logs to review, it's difficult to troubleshoot.

As it stands, HT5 still can't get through scanning all of my content unfortunately. It's just a buggy mess of software that will freeze and crash without reason. I'm guessing it's meant for smaller librarys, but without any specifications from Zidoo on this, how is anyone to know before buying one and testing it...

    Define large. 10TB, 100TB? 500 movies, 5,000 movies? 1,000 TV episodes or 30,000?
