Ah - fair enough! I see what you mean - I use the posterwall and not the other views...

Will see what I can do.

How does NFO Refresh work on the AMLogic models?

If you use NFOs and change something in the NFO, you now have a "Refresh Metadata" option in the context menu which previously was only available for metadata scraped online:

Oooooh... Okay, I gotcha. I use the Refresh Metadata all the time on TMDB sourced Movies, but didn't realize the button was missing on NFO sourced data. This would absolutely be a welcomed fix for the Z9X Pro. As you may already know, I outlined this as a major headache when creating my own TV shows for home videos.

  7. Hi Mark, I hope you can help answer this. Can you use a NFO file when you have multiple films under the same name? For example Amadeus (1#Directors Cut) and (2#Theatrical Release)? If so, how do I need to name the nfo file or files? Ive been trying to get it to work with no luck. Thanks

  10. Hi Mark, this worked for most of my nfos. For a few, zidoo is matching the video to a movie that is not correct. I can't seem to figure out how to Unmatch it from the wrong movie and just get it to use the data from the nfo along with my local artwork. It keeps prompting me to match to a tmdb movie when there is none for this file. This is for something not in the tmdb database. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks

If HT is using the NFO correctly then it's not possible to match to the wrong movie - if that's the case, it's not using the NFO which either means the NFO is non standard or the movie was previously matched.

If you're stuck in a loop like this you'll probably have to clear the source and rescan - not a problem if you use NFO and local art.

Couple of ways to do this - the most drastic is to reset HT completely but probably the easiest if to go into the source, press <menu> and click "Clean Up" which will clears the database of entries for that source. Then check your NFOs are in order and rescan (<Menu> "Update").

  12. Thanks again!
