How to use local nfo file and local artwork

By clearlogo do you mean the film title top left as in the attached image? These are showing up in both TV and Movies on my setup.

 

Yeah, that's the logo I'm talking about. It still displays properly for TV shows and movies I added before. But, lately, the TV shows and movie I have added just use the fanart as the logo. See here.

 

Mine seem to be still working on my UHD3000 and HT5. Just added a couple of tv show episodes.

 

This was addressed in HT in the new boxes in v1.1.42.

I assume if that's what's happening on the 1619DR then the Clearlogos aren't available which either means that particular series hasn't got one, or the API for fanart.com has changed.

I don't know if McBluna has an updated apk for HT for the DR boxes but worth checking.

The other option is to use a local file.

When I have time tomorrow I’ll load in 2 trailers into a movie and see. I’m sure I did that after seeing your naming protocol for multiple trailers.

 

Sorry - we were talking at cross purposes - I thought it was about multiple posters for multiple versions of the same movie - as far as I know you can't do that.

But yes, multiple trailers is easy - just suffix with a number eg MovieName.trailer.1.mkv, MovieName.trailer.2.mkv

 

Yeah, I suspect that the API with fanart.tv has changed, but something else has changed too. I used to name the files like this: TVshowname-clearlogo.png

But HT 5.0 isn't picking that Up. I tested it last night and the only thing that worked was naming the file clearlogo.png and placing it into the respective folder with the TV show's mkv files.

 

I don't know what's changed on the Zidoo side - I don't use TV series.

But I just tested one and yes, the file needs to be simply Clearlogo.png and placed in each season's folder so you can have a different one for each season.

 

I wish we could have Clearlogos for collections.

Yes, NFO refresh is implemented on the AMLogic models.

As for the 1619DR models, your guess is as good as mine.

However, it's an HT feature, not a firmware feature, so not beyond the realms of possibility.

 

Wait, did you mean that there's no place for the Collection Clearlogos to be stored or no place for them to be seen in HT 5.0? While the latter is true for Classic Mode, Collection Clearlogos could be seen in Cover mode or List Mode.

See how HT 5.0 shows a random clearlogo from a movie within the collection instead of a collection clearlogo? I have the Kung Fu Panda Collection selected (It contains Kung Fu Panda 1, 2 & 3), but the clearlogo shows the Kung Fu Panda 3 clearlogo.

The same is true with the James Bond Collection. I have every Daniel Craig James Bond movie within the Collection, but HT 5.0 shows the Spectre clearlogo.

It's just wrong.
